  • Oh ! We hear the soul itself...

  • ibnaidjazari i c that you are not convinced of why sunnis show so much devotion to the prophet,

first of all all praise is due to Allah and He alone is worthy of worship.

Quite simple really Allah has called him his habeeb (beloved of allah) so that makes it farz to muslims to show the highest degree of respect to the beloved.....

  • Why cant we just give all our praise to GOD?

  • DIRECT OR INDIRECT PRAISE

He (SAW) is the Beloved of Allah; if you praise someone's beloved, does that someone not be pleased also? eg If you praise someone's dear son, the father will be happy (not angry). If you admire and compliment a beautiful painting, does the artist say angrily "Stop it, praise me directly, not through my painting"?

In praising, there is no 'shirk' but we must know who Muhammed is; in a billion years time, STILL on the Divine throne there will be the name of Muhammed.

  • I am not convinced, please help me!

  • Did Allah make a mistake (Hasha) by giving The Prophet(SAW) the name Muhammed?

If "Muhammed" means "Praised One", then who is he supposed to be praised by?

Allah says (33:56) Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.

  • When we praise the Prophet (SAW) :

    1. We show respect to him (SAW) whom Allah ordered us to respect.

    2. We are thanking Allah for the Prophet of Mercy (SAW) which is a great favour from his many favours to us.

    3. We show to Allah our love for the one whom He loves.

    4. We show our humility and humbleness and lower our pride

  • When we praise the Prophet(SAW) we always maintain in our heart that even though the Prophet (SAW) is infinitely better than us, he (SAW) is INFINITLY smaller and inferior against the greatness of Allah Almighty -and so there is never any question of shirk.

  • When we praise the Prophet (SAW), the praise itself, IS FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH'S PLEASURE.

And when we respect/praise the highest Prophet (SAW) we still don't match the way Adam had to be respected by the angels on Allah's command ie with a Sujood!

Before anyone wants to label respect or praise as shirk they should think about that sujood that Allah ordered the Angels to do Adam.

  • The highest Prophet is Muhammed Mustafa (SAW) and he said if you hear my name you should say Sallaho-alayhi-wasalam otherwise you are stingy/miserly.

So supposing we said "Sallaho-alayhi-wasalam", not once, but with love, we said it more or even as a Qasida (after all, he did pray for us day and night--"My Ummah, My Ummah") then as a result would we be tending towards Shirk? ...No, definitely not. He (SAW) was considering us so much, yet some foolish ones are saying don't consider him back.

  • The Prophet was always asking for his Ummah. Even on the Isra-wal-Meraj he asked for the prayers to be reduced from 50 to 5. If it remained at 50, that would be a prayer about every 29 minutes in 24 hours of the day. We should at least thank and praise him for that alone.

"Thankyou sir, you are very kind and considerate, Peace be upon you Oh our dear Prophet".

And to truly thank Allah, one must thank the one who is the sabab(means) as well -otherwise the thanks to Allah is not complete.

  • Allah says to stand behind Maqam-I- Ibrahim and pray 2 rakats (2:125). If the Koran itself had not said it, and instead a Sufi had, some people would have said, "We will not pray there. Why should we regard so highly Maqam-I-Ibrahim it's just the footprints of Prophet Ibrahim and we will only praise and respect Allah and this is a clear shirk to regard a Prophet so highly".

-- People should think on such points.

  • Unfortunately, some people, with their NARROW VISION and HARDENED HEARTS, that do not have the capacity to feel true love and respect for the Prophet SAW, insist that anyone who possesses these attributes should be labelled with shirk.

  • Whom Allah loves, we must love (for His sake).

Whom Allah respects, we must respect (for His sake).

Whom Allah PRAISES, we must PRAISE (FOR HIS S A K E!).

    ...And that is Muhammed Mustafa Sallaho-alahi wa-alihi wa-sahbihi wa-salam.

To learn real Islam, people must try to find true inheritors of the Prophet's knowledge and spirituality and they must seek out true Shaykhs --Shaykhs like Maulana Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani.

  • FUCK U

  • To SIMMY6K - you are obviously a wahabi/salafi as only they critisize others with such venom and carry such hatred in their hearts "in the name of Islam".

You think you have knowledge of tajweed and Islam and are better than others - you are like Iblis who had KNOWLEDGE BUT NO MANNERS and who was too proud to accept someone (Adam) was better than him.

  • The root of bad manners, in people like SIMMY6K, start with, disrespect for the Prophet(S) and this disease spreads in their deen. They put down the Prophet's spiritual status and regard him as a mere postman who has delivered a message and then gone;

they can NEVER call, "Ya Rasoolallah"

and they reject Sufis, WHICH TRADITIONAL MUSLIMS HAVE NEVER DONE EVEN IF THEY THEMSELVES WERE NOT SUFIS

-they are all Ahle Bida'a: Wahabi, Salafi, Hizb Tahrir, Khilafa, Tablighi Jamaat, Deobandi.

  • Astagfirulla, this guy's tajweed is all screwed up and yall saying its a heavenly voice.. you people are jahhil in tajweed aswel. he claims to be a descedent, he cant prove it or niether can any of you lot, still it doesnt make him betta den us..

  • masha'allah very beautiful

  • Heavenly Voice.. MashAllah

  • I would love to meet this man but I don't know how.

  • You can visit him in Cyprus, thousands do, from all nationalities and races.

Catch a flight to Larnaca and then get a taxi to Lefke in Northern Cyprus --all the taxis drivers know it if you just tell them "Shaykh Nazim, Lefke".

Otherwise you can meet his deputy Shaykh Hisham Kabbani who lives in America.

  • From where you from. There's so many murids around the world.Me, for example, i'm from Chile. But the best is to go to his home, Inshalah.

  • His recitation sounds like it is coming from heaven. I wouldn't be surprised that the angels were praying behind him. Some of you may say good things about him; other not so many good things. But, I do wonder why I find myself visiting youtube everyday to listen to him and watch his zikr. Anyone has videos of Rifaii tarika masters and zikr? Peace.

  • alhamdullilah shaykh nazim our teacher

    shaykh nazim we love you

  • SubhanAllah - The most beautiful recitation I have ever heard! SubhanAllah.. May Allah santify the soul of Shiekh Nazim Adil Al-Haqqani in this world and the life to come.. Ameen

  • How many signs of His.. will you deny...

O people clean your hearts and let the veils be removed for surely you will remain mis-guided if you do not hold to the rope of a guide.. Sheikh Nazim is he who is embodied in the robe of love.. if Allah has not granted you the ability to understand do not deny.. like those who denied the Prophets of their time for the Awliya are the true inheritors.. not you o ignorant one..

  • may Allah give Mavlana Sh Nazim and Sh Hisham long life

  • elh very Beautiful

  • This voice is so attractive. I love Sh Nazim. People always choose to hate instead of love. I have only felt love from Sh Nazim. Meet him then judge him. You will feel the love.

  • He recited the express Al Fatihah.. what a disgrace..

the sufi is one of the 72 as narrated in the hadith, to be placed in hell...

  • To zahiruddin & SKAILIYA 1. Shaykh is reciting fast to make the tarawih prayer short and sweet for newcomers to Islam and not overburden them and make them run away --that is the wisdom. But as usual, you guys judge and condemn outward actions through your ignorance. 2. "SKAILIYA" are you sending these famous Sufis to hell? Ibn Arabi Imam Ghazali Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jillani Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti Jalaludin Rumi Rabia al-Adawiya Ali Hujwiri Hasan al-Basri
  • Who are YOU to place someone in the fire? It's arrogant to speak for Allah swt when He decides these things, and don't mess with the Awlia.

  • i think that is a very inappropriate and disrespectful thing to say. who are you to say who is going to hell and who isn't? astagfirullah

  • only Allah Almighty judge against who will be sent to hell. Making judgements that is solely the absolute right of the Almighty Creator makes one a challenger to that.

  • Wallahi for an old person, it's very beautiful, imagine if he was younger

  • This record makes me remerbering the Ramadan- tarawyya-praying in the Pekham-Moscque in London with Maulana Sheikh Nazim Efendi. It was so beautiful, so blessed: And the hearts of about thousand attenders have been fed with hevenly food and have been pleased in a way, no one can describe ...

  • This is not an beautiful recitation? Why he is reciting the Fatiha so very fast?

  • under which section of the knowledge of jurispudence (fiqh) that speed (as in speed of reading in this case)contravened against?

  • Why he is reciting al-Fatiha so fast?

  • We love you we love you we love you so much we love you what else can we say? SHAYKH NAZIM!!

  • subhanallah, shaykh Nazim has a beautiful voice. Mashallah

  • Ya Allah Ya Muhammad (saw)

  • filthy filthy dirty fuel for the hell fire sufis. go rot in hell

  • To AwakeningVisions Comment: you Wahabi/Salafis are only full of hatred and you say you follow Quran and Sunnah; is such hatred a trait of the Prophet(SAW)? You TRY to follow ONLY the outward rules and regulations and are ignorant of the inner aspects of Quran&Sunnah so your inner realities remain filthy filthy filthy!

  • The outer without the inner is imperfect, and the inner without the outer unworthy. One who combines the inner with the outer is the philosopher's stone. Our Lord! Make our light complete, and forgive us. You are master of everything; bless those who follow the Guidance.

  • wonderful.

  • sheik nazim zindabad !

  • "Which then of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" If we understand it well, it will benefit our Ummah a lot. May God instill the truth in our heart.

  • Long Live Sheikh Nazim, May we always be close to him, Ameen.

  • Sheik Nazim is a great spiritual leader, and any disagreement is causing fitnah and may lead the person to go astray. Don't hate...its not good for you. Allah SWT make us all see the true light, and lead us to these good people.

  • Mashallah, May Allah give Sheikh Nazim a long life. Ameen. U wahabis are in darkness-May Allah take the veils away from your heart!

  • Wahabbis,

    salafis,

    extemists,

    rejectors of Saints,

haters of human beings in whatever way Allah has made them

and narrowminded people who make religion so difficult are not welcome on this site.

Everyone else: Come, come, whoever you are.

  • To Hahaha and all Wahabis and Salafis

Do you question a master in any field, such as world master surgeon --he knows the subject better than you.

A Sufi master has reached something you haven't (nearness to the Lord) through a methodology he teaches to those who want the same goal.

  • To Hahaha and all Wahabis and Salafis, your needle is stuck on Bida, bida, bida.

Bida (innovation) falls into 2 categories --good & bad.

Bad innovations = guns, nuclear weapons, suicide bombings(Wahabi/Salafi favourite)

Good innovations = trains, planes, chanting Allah names in a gathering (a Sufi favourite)

  • to mr hahaha20 your name suggests your are a joker of some type?you said the sufis make a noise when they do zikr?allah says when you do my zikr do it with that much intensity that if someone looks at you they think you have gone mad?you are obiously a whabbi of some sort?you whabbis have given a bad name to islam?ahl sunnah wal jammat is the biggest islamic movement and thank allah for that?we are heading in the right direction?may allah give you hiddayh?amin

  • Hahaha20, which Quran & Sunnah(Q&S)?. Does your Q&S agree with innocent killings through suicide bombings -- our Q&S says, that is totally evil. I will follow the Q&S according to Shaykh Nazim - he is a qualified Mufti and a Spiritual Shaykh with a direct chain of elite spiritual masters leading to the Prophet(SAW). I truly believe the "shaykhs" you get your knowledge from have developed their own ways and Q&S. I have to end these useless discussions and say Lakum denukum wali yadeen.

  • LOng Live sheikh Nazim!!1 Hu Haqqqqqqqqq! may Allah give them hidayah the envious imboceiles! and if they seekest not then may they burn and rot!

  • "hahaha20" its not called worshipping, i was once like u, my advice is go meet a Kamil murshid a spiritual guide put your hands into his hands Inshallah if you are sincere you will see the divine openings, your love for the deen will increase, your love for Allah Almighty and his messenger peace and blessings be upon him will increase , until you dont taste the honey you cant describe the taste, long live the sufi masters, long live Moulana Sheikh Nazim (Ameen)

  • Nazim , Nazim , Nazim , can't you haqqani ever get beyond adoration of this man , Fana fi Sheik is just a step on the path ,if you do not go beyond that you are just practicing sheikism . If you only talk about your sheik and seldom about Allah your path is naught but Ghafla

  • People are always jealous when someone is loved, admired and praised -Iblis was towards Adam(AS), Abu Jehl towards the Prophet Muhammed(SAW), brothers towards Joseph(AS) etc.

With anything, AT ALL TIMES, there will always be beginners and it is ignorant and proud to imply that their path is Ghafla (heedlessness).

Like many, I am beginning my spiritual journey, and I will begin at the start --with the Love of my Shaykh.

  • "Abushams" Moulana sheikh Nazim is no normal man, In an era of darkness and corruption, he brings light to humanity through Heavenly teachings.just like pious people in the hitory of islam did. spirituality is a path of experience more than description, the journey on such a path involves walking through the door more than just reading what is written on the front of it.
