I really like the English, so don't get me wrong with my comment. You mentioned not tipping. Well, that's fine if you're in the UK. But the English (and other Europeans) often pretend to be unaware that tipping is expected in restaurants in America. Wages are minimal for servers in the US, tips are most of their pay. A 15% tip is considered normal for good service. Some Europeans ignore this, (especially Scandivanians) although they know better. It does'nt reflect well on them or their country.

I absolutely love this video - reminds me of all the good things about England! Yes, Casualty has been on forever it seems and yes we do have nice teeth here believe it or not Americans!! And the fact that we are asked if we all know the queen, and the sandwich! I forgot that's English! And Bewitched came to my school and I got their autograph (but I think they were Irish)- I forgot all about them!! Love this. Thanks for posting. What a nice idea x

we have hollywood, vegas, american football and baseball, disney world, universal studios, statue of liberty, grand canyon. california, jim morrison, grateful dead, southern rock, elvis blues, one of the most desirable places to live, microsoft, apple, pretty much all the best movies and tv shows. so much more. i dont take america for granted

I really like the English, so don't get me wrong with my comment. You mentioned not tipping. Well, that's fine if you're in the UK. But the English (and other Europeans) often pretend to be unaware that tipping is expected in restaurants in America. Wages are minimal for servers in the US, tips are most of their pay. A 15% tip is considered normal for good service. Some Europeans ignore this, (especially Scandivanians) although they know better. It does'nt reflect well on them or their country.

Myself and my family are from the uk but our great grandparents are from norway, and as dumb as it is none of us speak norwegian or know anything about the culture but we always declare ourselves norwegian first lol, Lame yeah i know. Im American...Our main ancestries are Italian, German and English of course so basically all of our culture is a CRAZY mix of German, Italian and English cultures mixed with 200 years of evolution on those things. Living in a America is hard these days since George Bush has ruined the world view on our country but We have the largest military and largest economy...everyone loves our music and movies so we are still proud. That we have many major cities, major theme parks, many inventions, writers, actors, singers, dancers, sports, media, and a crazy amount of spoiled rich people who have nothing going for them but being rich *cough* paris hilton *cough*, we always make things work, we seem to always find a way to do anything. We have many different views on things, spend money on crazy things, no patience, but look out for eachother when push comes to shove

Now, I'm trying to forget it, but I still respect my history.. anyways... what reminds me of my country; TURKEY. beautiful beaches, history, ATATÜRK (means father of Turks, a hero for us.), ice cream, belly dancers (there are a lots of Turkish belly dance teachers in America, American people love it.), and lots of stuff.
