  • these guys fool of ork fun burns can get like 15 guys a squad snikrot or/and nobs just get lot of them by that I mean you really only can get 2 nobs and snikrot. Have them poppen up all over the place let the laughs begin

  • I have had them come along and reak havic among the back side and pop 3 rinos ankill all inside. kommandos are so much fun ;)

  • @connorlane Really, depends on your army and who you will be playing. Against blob IG, Snikrot is AMAZING. Against a line of razorspam, not so much.

    Without snikrot your mileage will vary quite a bit as you are at the mercy of the dice. But if you put objectives within 12" of both sides, you know you will be able to contest at least one no matter what.

  • @Da40kOrks well i'm going up against an army of chaos space marines and he has a decent army size and i was kind of hoping to be able to use the kommando's along with snikrot as an anti tank unit would that be a good idea or should i just use him to ambush infantry?i will mostly be playing against chaos and space marines.

  • @connorlane 1 word, YES!!!!

    snikrot can controll, take a 10 man squad with a burna, take out a tank, then charge a close unit, that is 200 points more than made up for.

  • @connorlane Dude, Snikky is always worth it. He's not really a super BA or anything, its just the psychological effect he has on your opponents deployment. He's going to put them at least 12" from the board edges so you can't ambush that ass :) They just fear the potential. A smart opponent will not worry about it too much till turn 2 or 3, but either way, they are a game changer!

  • i have the original Captain Snikrot and his Bloodaxe Kommando's

  • When you realise just HOW many casualties you get from shooting whilst your boyz run across the field, you see that outflanking to get near to the enemy for close combat early on - which can block the enemies shooting line of sight with close combat saving more orkies.

    I'd not go with snickrot though. Prefering to have the option of powerfist sniping the otherwise untouchable leman russ's hiding behind the enemy lines droppin' pie plates. also the boss pole always good

  • my army is mostly gonna have alot of boys 10 komandos with snikrot and 2 burnas a wierd boy(warphead) a mek with kustom force field a looted wagon (carnifex) warbuggies with flamers and either burna boyz or loota

  • snikrot ork cheese? F**K THAT those marine jack offs get drop pods and can take as many as they want, we can only get 1 snikrot

  • Also another important point regarding Snikrot is that he is an "upgraded" character which means he cannot be targeted when he is within the unit. Effectively making him a multiple wound killing machine much like a PK nob is in a boyz unit.

  • Nice! I really like your "Talking about orks" videos and I look forward to new videos by you. Two questions though. Could you possibly do a Talking about orks on Flash Gitz and the other ICs and second, why is everyone afraid of Lightning Claws?

  • I'm more or less going in the order the units are in the codex, so I'll get there for sure.

    LC's are pretty good..they get to go at initiative and re-roll wounds so that helps overcome the lower S of the user.

  • wats unorky about them? if an ork is motivated itll do enything. You just need to get them pumped up. Like this "Ay boyz you gitz are gonna be really sneakiez and kill all da hummies from behind!"

    3 small squads 5boyz + Powerclaw

    or less squads but more orks?

    i have 16 boyz + 3 bosses with PC.

  • Small squads of orks almost never work out in the end. The smallest thing I've ever fielded was 6 lootas (because that is all I had at the time) and while they could still shoot OK, any time they came under any sort of fire it was the end of them.

    but would you run them maxed out? they can still get shoot down quik (only 15)

    i was thinking of putting 3 small (6) squads very near to the enemy in cover just so i can tigh his stuff up early in the game (maybe waaahg 1st trun) and give my boyz time to move on in. And with 3 small squads he might not shoot at all of them or they can give each other cover

    Sounds interesting though. I don't know about tying up all 3 elite slots but that's me.

  • well if you have 2 wierdboywarpheads theres a chance of a waaahg (in turn 1) unless i overread something
