But the fossiles were left in acid, and it's probable that they were a contaminant. It's like when you dissolve an eggshell in acid. It's not like they just opened it up and found flesh. Nothing contradictory with the age of the fossiles.

But the fossiles were left in acid, and it's probable that they were a contaminant. It's like when you dissolve an eggshell in acid. It's not like they just opened it up and found flesh. Nothing contradictory with the age of the fossiles.

@updr41 But if you want evidence for macro evolution, biology offers tons of it, especially genetics. We have the genes for a fully functional tail. I'm not talking about vestigial features, but genes. If you activate them on an embryon, you'd have a human being with a tail sticking out.
Another one is chicken having the genes for teeth.
There's also the cases of legs on dolphins and so on, but you'd rather ask an evolutionary biologist.
