  • ใครรู้จักชื่อเพลงนี้เป็นภาษาไทยมัง? បើបទ ស្នេហ៍ឆ្លងវេហា ជាភាសាថៃគឺ(รักข้ามขอบฟ้า )

  • Sinn sang in Thai so well and very clear , so amazing. Ros sang not so clear but her voice is very good. I like both of them sang in Thai . If they still alive we must hear them sang in Thai more than this , oh I want to cry..

  • @sirisaktan it would make sense, wasn't he half Laotion? and Laotion people speak the same language as the Thais? xD Ros wasn't related in any way.

  • Let's just all sit down and share a pot of rice, can we do that?

  • because I understood this lyrics of song It make me cry and cry TT T T T T TT

  • I'm crying hoh hoohoho I thinking about in the past time!!! When I was young.

  • I'm Thai people When I listen this song In the first it make me cry

  • Wow I could not believe that Ros Sereysothea can sing in Thai. I heard Sin Samouthn sang in Thai before in the late 50's when I was young in Phnom Penh.

If it weren't for the fucken Thai Nationalist and the thug PAD Thai Khmer relation could have flourished and we would have made more movies and songs together.

  • Nice song! I hope two countries will be good neighbors and share some movie again. God blesses both!

  • This song is where Arunya Namvong and Chea Yuthon at the beach.

  • Wow very good oldie sang in Thai by Sin Sisamouth and Sereysothea. Let Khmer Thai make more good movies together again.

  • As you already knew and to the young generation that this song released and translated from Khmer and Thai jointed film in 1970. The photograph is Khmer and Thai jointed film 'Adventured Life", starring Dy Saveth, Chea Yuthon and included two famouse Thai movie stars Arunya namvong and Sombeth Mathanee.

  • This song makes me cry, We live in cruel a world. May Sinn Samuth and Ross Serey Sothea rest in peace... You are in our heart for eternity...!!!! Khmer must love Khmer forever... Always be mindful of the menace nations out there!!!!

  • @Rajasen06 U it make me cry ,too When I listened it in the first time!!!

  • poor khmers,

you think the thais are your brothers, but they think you're backward & barbaric, d'ohh!!

now, if they treat you as backward & barbaric, dont be 2 upset, take it easy. they think of the khmer rouge, not of sin si samouth or dy saveth or ruous serey sothea. the khmer rouge were more, unspeakably more, than backward & more, unspeakably more, than barbaric.

  • @pkving @pkving @pkving Savage is an understatement in describing them...who else do you know that smashed heads of babies against a tree or shear off a woman's breast while she was still alive? No wonder many elderly Khmer, to this day, wants the memory from that dark era erased for as long as they live.

  • sarnserm,

the khmer rouge are a shame 4 cambodia. no1 else in the history of the world has been so barbaric & so mass-murderous 2 their very own people.

the elderly people in cambodia shouldnt try 2 erase their memory of the khmer rouge. they au contraire should remember the mass-murderous khmer rouge regime & tell it 2 the new generations about it, so that the new generations may learn a lesson of how 2 avoid it.

the lesson is: don't love your ideology more than your country.

  • @pkving Sad to say this , but Cambodia is going through a slow death. Through survival circumstances, they'll be forced to labor to their death, sell their lands and properties, even their kids, to keep themselves alive...Isn't this more barbaric?

  • sarnserm,

i've visited cambodia 3 times in the last 8 years, the last 1 was just last year. i havent seen anythin' that could be considered as a slow death of cambodia. i've seen things that can be considered as progress. yeah yeah there are those who're left behind. the government should minimize their number, preferrably 2 0. but that's a problem 4 all developed countries in the west 2,

nothin' is more barbaric than the pol pot's khmer rouge regime. hun sen opposed the genocide.

  • cambodian refugees, vietnam, & thailand

i've been a cambodian refugee 2 both vietnam & thailand. the vietnamese treated the cambodian refugees as human beings. the thais treated the cambodian refugees as street dogs.

in vietnam, the cambodian refugees could live wherever they wanted 2. in thailand, the cambodian refugees were rounded up in refugees' camps & treated like street dogs by the thais.

poor khmers, you think the thais are your brothers, but the thais think you're street dogs.

  • The singer in promdan jet in thai and khmer is ros sorei sothea and sinsisamouth, the thai and khmer version of Snae Chlong Veaha was sung by the actress Dy Saveth and Sinsisamouth

  • Khmer and Thai were along side by side, we were like brothers. Then this fockin' Viet started the war that stirred up peace. Khmer was prospered. Burn in hell HO CHI MINH.

  • I always feel such sorrow thinking of how advanced Khmer would be and how Thai-Khmer relations would be so much better if only the fucking war and Khmer Rouge never had occurred.

  • x0xone,

see my post "cambodian refugees, vietnam, & thailand".

  • let khmer/Thai get along and start making some more good movies togethers.

  • It's been 40+ years since I saw Miss Aranya Namwong. I did not know she is very famous actress now in Bangkok.

I wish her and her love ones all the best in the world.

    Best Regards.

    Jesse J.

  • does anyone have this movie either in khmer? plz upload...

  • Does anyone has this song's lyric in Thai but spell in English.

  • Hehe, It's kind of hard to spell Thai words in English letters, but I may be able to find one of those semi-correctly spelled "karaoke" versions.

  • Thai people the one talking shit about khmer n laos n shiet. So what if khmer talk shit about viet? They took our land just like you damn thai people did!!!

  • A Khmer astrology has predict that said "Bungkok RoLom, Phnom Phenh RoLeay, SungKa Kjda Kjaei, SaBye Angkor". Khmer will soon rise back into power. I'm just waitin on that day to come.

  • doesn't sound good for phnom phenh!

  • @jarani8

yes I think so,but we have to wait and see...

  • I know what you're talking about and I would like to say ur pretty close. It's "BungKok RoLom, Phnom Penh roleay, Battambong kjat kjai, Sabai Angkor Wat." All of those have already happened since the Khmer Rouge Era...we just waiting for Bungkok to RoLum. =]

  • what does that mean? that's the first i heard of that.

  • Comment removed

  • Well, it's not like anyone want Battambong to kjat kjai, but that did happened during the Khmer Rouge Era. Everyone in Battambong we're all seperated from families and friends. But yea, I don't think Battambong should be replace with Prey Nokor because Prey Nokor should juss stay the way it is. I still believe that one day we're going to get Prey Nokor and Kok Tlok(hanoi) back.

  • @uR2us

yes I agree with you 200% bro..

  • ur2us,

see my post "cambodian refugees, vietnam, & thailand".

  • its happening right now, the "yellow" and the "reds" are protesting everywhere.

  • yea for sure and I'm glad that's happening. They dumb asses anyways. Still want Preah Vihear to be known as their's.

  • Let me tell the truth about this. The Red Shirts are not the perpetrators of the Prah Vihear problem. The fascist ultra-conservative royalist "yellow" shirts (the PAD) and their pretty boy Apisit Vejjajiva who was "installed" as the Prime Minister illegally, along with the army, they provoke Cambodia. Poor people in Thailand want no problem with Cambodia or Lao brothers. Rich elite classes of people in Thailand have always abused others. So speaking for the "reds", we only want equality for all

  • @fartknocker31 wow that was some deep sh1t. specially coming from someone name... fart knocker. :)

  • @SatreyThevy2o9

I can't help but to reply these OLD WORDS.You are the REAL Kaun KHMER to knowmTHESE WORDS.Long Live KHMER MOHA NORKOR.

  • Thanks for ur nice compliment. I just want to share this information with other Koun Khmer out there.

  • What the thais think of khmers it's irrelevant!

  • 1ronin187,

see my post "cambodian refugees, vietnam, & thailand".

  • So the Jews can't be resentful to all the hatred they've been through for hundreds of years? (ex. Egypt, Third Reich, etc.) It isn't just land that we're resentful about but a myriad of problems. Of course I have met some wonderful Thai's but a majority of them are lulled by false propaganda and are taught to look down on Khmers as barbaric and backwards.

More importantly this song and movie once symbolized the friendship between our nations. A friendship I hope that will be restored one day.

  • lionheartpnshmnt,

see my post "cambodian refugees, vietnam, & thailand".

btw, if the thais look down on the khmers as barbaric & backward, dont be 2 upset, they probably have the khmer rouge in mind.

  • Its awesome!

  • Is this song sung by Sinn Sisamouth and Ros Sereyasothea?

  • Yep it's sung by the king and queen, they were able to turn some Khmer songs into Thai.

  • This song is from a joint Khmer & Thai movie from the 1960's Jeeveth Psong Preng . Starring Khmer actors Chea Yuthorn & Dy Saveth also Thai actors Sombath Methanee & Aranya Namwong. The movie was made in both Khmer & Thai, soundtrack sung in both languages by Khmer Legend Sinn Sisamouth & Actress Dy Saveth (not Ros Sereysothea). There's another song from the movie in both Khmer & Thai by Sinn Sisamouth & Dy Saveth called "Snae Chlong Vayha".

  • i great i want to watch pous keng kong 2

  • Some, maybe even majority, of your Thai people do have bad attitude toward Khmer people. I was in this Thai restaurant by my college and I was kind enough to say hello in Thai "sa wa dee cup" to the waitress but when she asked me if I am Thai, I told her I'm Khmer and she didn't return to serve my table. I also have heard many first hand accounts from other Khmer facing bad treatment from Thai people. Thai people do look down on Khmer. It may bot be all of you but a lot of you do.

  • khemera777,

see my post "cambodian refugees, vietnam, & thailand".

  • well, if this is true, den it is your business also. i've had plenty of bad experiences w/ thai restaurants/people giving bad attitude just because they know i'm khmer. But maybe that's just certain people. Lots of refugees from the thai refugee camps have stories of abuse by thai officials

  • alien7blood,

see my post "cambodian refugees, vietnam, & thailand".

  • Sounds nice

  • Do thai people have this movie?

  • I'm not too sure. I'm hoping that this movie and Puas Keng Kong part 2 still exists in Thailand.

  • even if it did, would the thai gov't allow it to leak out that they used to glamourize the khmer culture. i dont wanna sound hateful but they dont want to have any connections with us. we copy/watch all there stuff, they "never" copy/watch khmer stuff. its too "UNDER" them to do so

  • That's nice song ....i love all oldie songs ...they are very touched......

I hope someone still have a copy of the movie. Hope our star(Dy Saveth) still have a copy of her excellent work.

  • Hope Dy saveth still have a copy of the movie. Love the song....and all other oldie song.
