I saw one body lock. That was the closest thing to a "takedown" I saw from Shamrock. Why do Cung Le fans insist that Shamrock tried to take him down? He stood with him and got destroyed. That was easily predictable. But when were these takedown attempts? Did I miss them?

My favorite part of the fight was when Le took down Frank and was asked if he wanted to display his ground skills in Shamrock's guard. No thanks.

That is so true. They spend way to much time doing ground work, they cant do anything else. In order to win, you have to be diverse in all the arts, not just the ground work. And speed is a factor.

Sanda is way sicker than mma will ever be. In sanda extreme conditioning takes place. Shins become deadly weapons. In mma training the body is not conditioned in as many places as in sanda. The technique is also dominating over mma. Cung Lee is exactly what mma needed. A fighter that actually has true martial arts skills for once. The gorilla punches and ""Brazilian"" Jiu-Jitsu are all most of these fighters have. Not putting anybody down at all. I'm just saying we need more sanda!!!
