I've been slightly at odds with certain family members for years. I have to admit that when those certain family members were struggling, I wasn't the most supportive. Yet in my time they showed me nothing but love, kindness, and support which really touched my heart. I'm thankful for the hard time (even though I'm still going through it) because it made me reconcile with my family. I love them now more than ever.
