hey if you like this video check out my channel i have many coin videos including greek, roman, world war 2 and world war 1, and many older coins i will be posting later.
So if you guys can take the time and check it out!
hey can you help an ameteur with his collection i have most of the sam coins right now i have 42 indian head pennies 6 buffalo nickels a silver certificate dollar and one liberty bell nickel ive been collecting for about 2 months
Very astonishing collection GG. I'm currently working on filling up the Whitmen 1909-1941 folders. Some of the missing coins I have, are not easy to get.
I also metal detect, I find tons of wheat pennies, about 100+, so the folders were a bit easy to fill. Some of the more later penny folders are a piece of cake.
Great job pal. The 1909 S VDB is a royal pain to afford and get. I am also a Cent colector here my oldest is a Liberty Cap from 1795 can barely see the design but you can see an outline of it. So very neat seeing an old cent n its history. Good luck with the cent collections.
where'd you get the whole album thing to keep all the pennies in? i wanna start a collection and i've been looking everywhere and i havent been successful.
Hi Game.....I can see that it has taken a long time for you to put your collection together. I'm most certainly aware of the time it takes. As for the other comments made here....collecting is a hobby in which an individual determines their own way of enjoying the hobby. Your extras of wheaties can be used in the future if you desire to trade. You could build short sets of WWII if you like :>) Mentioning the 2 cent piece. This was the very first U.S. Coin to have the "IN GOD WE TRUST" Motto :>)
DONT BUY ANY COINS THAT THEY MADE A lot OF just get real RARE ones even thow they cost more they go up more and are easy to sell. dont use folders theres acid in the paper. use a little plastic holder or like a ziplock bag
I can see that your question of, "What are Commons" was'nt answered. A common coin is a high mintage coin with very little value. Such as baseball cards, when you open the pack you see more of the same cards of the same players over and over because of one reason, many were made. The best players or key cards are not very often found. Example: Your 1945 Lincoln is a common because of it's population of 1,040,515,000 and your 1909-S VDB is not common to find. :>)
hmmm well ur points are accurate by me myself I get more enjoyment in an entire collection that I put a lot of sweat and tears into than one coin that I got by writing a check
YEAH BUT IN AN EMERGENCY if you have to sell its eaiser to sell one then 50 and people will say oh i dont need all fifty so they will try to give you 25 percent of their value. but a key coin they will pay you even more than book sometimes
not pennies
