Why is it that the world was always grey back then. Even in the early 90s when I was young, the world seemed much grittier...not sure why.

yes I would have thought they would be back 5s bescause during the 60s they were mostly the work force of the steam engines

If you still know, what site did you get these clips from? I'm trying to hunt down Archive steam footage that is royalty free or under a creative-use license. Not having much luck so far though.
