  • aap ne gaya bade hi achhe tarike se

    iska matlab jante ho ....

  • But don't worry too much - nobody's perfect.

  • KanjarDaa: you also have to not be an arrogant know-it-all prick to enjoy this song, otherwise the meaning will be lost on you.

  • sufi... at its best

  • bulbala is "bubble of Water" but bulla is a saint

    and poet in punjabi..

  • and bulla is Bullay Shah great muslim Sooofi (saint)

  • the portrayal of days where we do not know where we stand and the vivid definition of where we need to think ... at least in the sense that we always attempt to stand in days where we think we should be living rather than the days that we would rather want to be living. ... this is my bulla ki jaana main kaun

  • people who claim they understand the essence of this song and then fight over the sect, name or nationality of baba bulle shah, are the Biggest wannabes and morons on the face of this earth ....

  • This song was amazing the singer of the song has a great talent..... I am the fan of this song.. :)

  • this is a very old song but very great

  • Great song

  • Bulla in Punjabi means a "bubble of water" - something which is here today but may not be there tomorrow . It can not mean god/allah which was/is/will always be there.

You have to be a Punjabi to REALLY enjoy this song. But do not worry too much - nobody is perfect.

  • @KanjarDaa

This poem is written by the 17th century Punjabi Sufi poet Bulleh Shah(formally 'Abdullah Shah').

Bullha is essentially his pen-name and it doesn't mean "bubble of water".

Bullha ki jana main kaun = o Bulleh, I don't know who I am.

  • @KanjarDaa veer ji bulbula hunda hai bubble of water.. bulla nahi... galti lag gayi...

  • @KanjarDaa ....yeah but in this case "Bulla" is not that bubble of water ... it refers to baba Bulleh Shah, Sufi saint who was Punjabi !! ;)

  • @KanjarDaa Bulla was the great saint and he wrote this kalam

bulla is not a bubble of water

in this he has writen that i have tried to find myself but i dont know what i am and who i am :)

  • @KanjarDaa Bulla is the name of the poet baba bulleh shah. He is addressing himself in these verses. The bulla you are talking about is not bulla but bulbula .. The bubble of water.

  • @KanjarDaa

i am not punjabi, but i still enjoy this song 6 years later ;D

  • @KanjarDaa u dont have to b a punjabi to enjoy good music........get a life bozo

  • @KanjarDaa

  • super song

  • Awsome Song

  • i just hate it wen people try 2 own baba bulleh shah arguing over him. i hate it when people mistake him for a sikh and stick to that misunderstanding like glue not that i hate sikhs, i have great respect for sikhs. but ppl need 2 do some research.

  • An all time GREAT song !

  • very very gud love it

  • If you look at the video it gives some lyrics. You will see he is talking to himself. Although he himself is Bullah but this is his inner voice which is asking the Bullah which the world knows and sees but the innerself is not known to all. Since there is an innate connection b/w the innerself and Bullah therefore he is questioning Bullah that neither am I fire, wind, etc nor connected with a religon or region nor am I a figure like Moses or Pharos. So who actually am I? We all at times feel this

  • gud song

  • HUMANITY .... lol a word we find in dictionaries but not in our cerebral logic system ... now that makes us dumb and gives me something to laugh about ... lol peace everyone man .... live every freaking moment and try to understand the reason behind every occurrence .... peace brahs ;)

  • ONE OF MY MOST FAVOURITE SONGS :P

  • HANDS OF U

  • Tear down the mosque and temple too, break all that divides

But do not break the human heart as it is there that God resides.-Bulleh Shah

Lesson to the Mullahs to learn something.

  • Mullahs commenting on this forum must remember that Bulleh Shah was denounced by the Mullahs of his time. He was not a Pakistani but an Indian as when he was born, there was no Pakistan. Its like calling Advani and MMS as Pakistanis because they were born in whats now modern day Pakistan. Pakistanis can claim only what they have post 1947 as their own.

  • @infreakystranger

dude! ur missing the point, what's pakistan or indian or anyone else.

  • @infreakystranger my friend no1 says that bulleh shah was a pakistani. no1 in that time was a pakstani, it was either muslim, hindu or sikh. all of us were counted as indians.

  • It can't really be a copy considering that its the lyrics of the Bulla Shah, as the name comes in the song, so I agree with you that it is sung by two different artists but its not a copy :)

  • @rock5369567 Shame on you, liar...

run run Taliban is coming to occupy Pakistan!!!

  • nice poetry nice song

  • This song define spirituality, a quest for truth of life that we human being unaware because of our ignorance and deed.

  • a masterpiece!

  • song is great and the video, video is creative unlike other music videos

  • @immortaljatt05 nice one

  • such of gar8 hai ya song nehi video

  • Thank you, Freerider 1502. This song is really inspired me. It really touched my heart and spirit.

  • I love this song, and I find much inspiration in it.

Three cheers for the Sufism. Thank you.

    with love and light. john

  • I search this world looking for what I do not know. I search this emptiness looking for what I do not know, yet I do. An exile I long for my home. Where shall I find it? where is this fullness I desire? Where do I ind myself? I pray to the One; My heart tells me look into the eyes of another, look there and find yourself, the sun.
  • The World searches you looking at what you know It searches the fullness looking at what you know, and yet don't. Oh Human, don't you know? Your Home is everywhere, yet not here. The Emptiness is what you have left. Find Yourself in body, if not there, in the dream, if not there, in the deep sleep, if not there, in the Self shall you find Yourself. The One responds, "Your heart is My seat, look into the eyes of another, look there and find Me, The Everything."
  • Well said my friend, well said indeed. all the best, john

  • haha thank you :)

  • ac tually, the parts from "Find Yourself in body...find Yourself" refer to the legend of Indra and his search for the Self.

  • Hidden the heart is a blazing light, starlight.

Look into the eyes of another with empathy,

    there a sun brighter than the stars blazes;

we look for ourselves in objects,

    yet in the eyes of others is a great treasure;

look and find your heart, the sun.

  • beautiful poetry! The message is the same!

  • Hidden inside of us all is a flaming light.

    United

that light would shine brighter that the sun.

    Right in front of us,

if look at with empathy, is a sun brighter than the stars.

Look and find your heart, the sun.

  • Hidden the heart is a blazing light, starlight. This bone-bag is made from the dust of dead stars, Yet inside it is hidden the Treasure of Treasures, the Rose. We seek the world looking for light, looking for the indescribable, that which we know but do not know. We ride this storm, losing our self in the world, only to find it again in the light. Look into the eyes of another with empathy, there a sun brighter than the stars blazes; look there and find your heart, the sun.
  • Baoot vadiyaa.... ain first class....

bulla shah - saadi punjabiya da eek great example!

singh sahab daatey raho maidan wich...

    raab saab nu sammat de...

  • @desisher16 bulleh shah wasnt a singh mate. he was a muslim.

  • @182popeye

where in my message did I say bullah shah was a sikh? I praised bullah shah as a punjabi and the singer as "singh sahab".

popeye - tusan aafim ghat khaya karo...

  • @desisher16 hahahah....

  • @182popeye Bulleh shah was not a muslim either.. He disowned it anyway.. He has his own views about God.

  • @prathik728 my friend he was a muslim. but just unique. not like the ones of that time who were anti-non muslims. dont just make up stuff.

  • @182popeye He was a non-muslim, he gave up religion to find happiness. I am not making stuff up, you have not done your reading, if you read his poems you'll get a better insight, don't interpret things the way you want it to be.

  • @prathik728 if he was a non-muslim then y wud he b following his murshid(guru) who was a muslim and taught him the true 'islam'. he just wasnt a typical common sikh murdering muslim of that time -no offence to any1. he worshipped allah but just wasnt amongts the muslims of that time.

  • its beautiful.........a kafi by the great sufi pir Bullah Shah...sung by a sikh.......a symbol of indian cultural plurality.......

  • I can hear this over and over again and find something different!!

  • absolutely right !!

  • love baba bulleh shah'skalam. and singers whome ever sing his kalam. a lot of respect to them. keeping his name alive.........jeendey ravo!!!!

  • Junoon sung the same song which was pretty good. But I love this version, reason is of course orignality in lyrics and the energy and passion that Rabbi has put into it. Awesome and great job done. :)

  • wish everybody had that philosophy fk the world too much violence for nothing stupid ruling the nations

  • Bulleh Shah was a Punjabi Muslim Sufi Poet his real name was Abdullah Shah. He was born in Bhawalpur now in Pakistani Punjab.

  • GLOB100 is a very uneducated person

guru Nanak was nor a Muslim or Hindu, he choose the path of truth, the word Sikh means to learn, and all sikhs are diciples, shouldnt this make alot of sense? i wouldnt call sikhism a religion, more of a learning of the truth, this is my first and only coment, im sorry for people who just want to enjoy the song lol! but i felt like i had to after reading the ignorant coments!

  • what a song!

  • bulla ki baal..

  • This song was made to honour the death of his mentor, Bulla Shah, whose Ideals were for and only sikhism, and he showed all the differences

  • I dont get why people have to get into religion for no reason. You should just be content listening to this great song. It has such a deep meaning to it!

  • my favourite

  • nice song

  • amazing lyrics

  • these lyrics are from famous Sufi poet BULLEH SHAH

  • Easily one of the best songs ever written to this poem. As much as I love Junoon and "Bulleya," Rabbi Shergill's song is extremely musical and great to listen to. Unpretentious and beautiful.

  • love it

  • best of best.

  • Wonderful song! I was looking for it since last summer in Tenerife Spain. Heard there in a hindi restaurant and fallen in love with it! Thanks to those who put it on the internet!!

  • This song (Kalam) is posted by three people(Punjabi/poetry lovers).

Total more that 40 thousand viewers so for

    (untill05-04-2008)

Credit goes to Rabbi Shergill, amitshah4 and other two who has posted this video.

    Thankx to every body.

  • all these debate!!...everyone please shut up listen to this song and watch the sun freeze over

  • Music is universal. It was born out of nothing. All religions accept that. Music was born out of the human desire for communication. It was meant to be enjoyed. So lets shelve this petty bickering and njoy the purity of Bulla Shah's song euologised by Rabbi Shergill. I wonder if any other singer would have done this particular song justice like Rabbi has.

  • Nice song.

  • @savki11

Stop looking at onli one side of the picture n be mature. u were not there in 1947 niether the ppl who have written those histories. every religion and every community has paid for that partition.. if u dont know keep ur mouth shut.

this forum is for music not for ur Fuckin responses

  • its a nice song, its for every one.

  • Thanks a lot amit i just love this song

  • dudes this place is for listening music,,mouth is for eating dont shit from there,,,,

  • Amazing

  • islam= 80% Judaism+ arab pagainsm+roman perpetual Jihad through warfare

  • I find it strange when everything boils down to religion, who is better?. This video is the exact opposite of the comments listed here. Looks like nothing can wipe out pettiness. And all the people who do nothing but talk nonsense have time for these petty comments

  • Religion - especially organised religionis bullshit and is root cause for all strife in Humanity today.

  • this is funny.. someone sings a song... and then ppl gooo pointing fingers... hehehe... I find it funny that when sikvi says that, islam is a borrowed religon when possibly his own religon borrows from Hinduism. Im not gonna say anything more abt muslims killing siks... ( who killed the ex prime minister gadhi??) but il say onething... the song is done beautifully but frankly indians are pakistanis are the most egocentric and Unclean ppl on earth

  • check out faithfreedom dot org for the truth. thanks.

  • Dhiyansingh

Those are noble words. I support them. But I am also a realist. A tiger is not going to turn vegetarian. If you know sikh history, you should know that very well.

There is something innately wrong and violent with Islam. Indian history attests to it. IF you deny it than you are really blind~~
