Uh, you're supposed to install an "invisible fence" copper wire barrier around the perimeter of the yard that the robot senses. Guess the guy missed that part of the instructions.
@jdmac44 Lol, your funny. Of course the perimetre wire was installed, and I don't use perimetre switch, I use the base station so NO Batteries. We have 4 zones (Automatic).
This demonstrates how the Robomower will sometime jump the wire and get lost. It will then drive around looking for wire then just stop.
You sounding like a professional Robomower person with your comment, you should know Robomower sucks so if you still have one, throw it in the garbage. Buy a lawnbott. Pro guy!
So you go off and buy this expensive robot to mow the lawn and it up and "goes for a stroll". Yeah, goes and plays in traffic!!! Whats to say this thing doesn't just roll off into the sunset? Why did it only go that far and play possum? Man now I know to watch for 'bots and snag 'em! Yeah, so I end up; w/ a dumb 'bot. Better than no 'bot! So how do I explain to my insurance that I hit a robot? Or is that, lawnmower?
Nice. My RL1000 did the same thing one day. Same spot as yours, corner of the driveway and street. I can only imagine what the drivers were thinking as they swerved around him. I guessed it was weak batteries in the perimeter switch...I'll never know...
