@Corrupt5358 yes... even more: because of the missing magnetic field, scientists took the reflecting gamma-ray from the surface to proof the existence of water beneeth it. @MaxDamageProductions Water was on Mars' surface thousands of years ago. However, after that catastrophe you were talking about, most water evaporated, I think the thing that hit Mars, destroyed its atmosphere. But, the closer u get to the core, the warmer it gets, maybe there's ice, or even water below the surface?
@halflifefan84 I don`t believe aliens exist. Especially on Mars. Our rovers have been there for over 7 years and have found absolutely no evidence of intelligent life.
I think what happened was either:
A: A humongous meteor (possibly the size of our moon) struck the planet and destroyed the atmosphere. Of course, water can`t...well...be liquid water when temperatures are that high with no atmosphere.
B: At some point in time, it had an orbit that took it extremely close to the sun.
@MaxDamageProductions You seriously believe that we're the only ones here? .... how can you possibly make that assumption!?!? Did you know that there are 10,000,000,000,000,000 planets in our universe? and even that is just what we think now, in the future, there could be TONS more, also, there are ten billion planets being classified as in there parent star's habitable zone, are you really trying to sugar coat the human race, that much, by saying we're the only intelligent race out there?! ....
@MaxDamageProductions Well, other life in the solar system: maybe bacteria is somewhere, other life in our galaxy: probably, but in the whole universe: undeniably. And just because we formed this way, doesn't mean aliens have to, even scientists are saying that there are certain bugs, that we have on our planet, that could survive on just one element, which means they could live on other planets, but it doesn't really matter I guess, we'll never see aliens in our lifetime... see you around.
@xXOrginalGamerXx AND OXYGEN we should Plants some pants there is carbon dioxide (Co2) On mars Plants use carbon dioxide to make oxyden all we need is light for them boom life of mars and we can breath
@narotovsgoku unfortunately Mars doesn't have enough mass to 'hold' and atmosphere..so the first step in terraforming Mars would be to add mass...lot's of it.
"No water = no life" is NOT anywhere near saying that "water = life." It does not. There is nothing organic in H2O. I think these people want life to be out there so badly that they'll overlook the monumental improbability of life occurring ONCE let alone multiple times in multiple locations. If the study of some occurrence on earth with such a low probability were proposed, the scientist making the proposal would be laughed out of academia. Yet...the grants for "astrobiology" keep on coming.
It's possible... I mean, we can see old river valleys, so who knows, maybe when dinosaurs roamed earth Mars had something like a jungle going on... Maybe the methane is comming out of huge oil deposits that are made of those same forests that once were... Who knows.
@ArtypNk Mars never had green grass, or trees, I'm pretty sure. Also, look up on google images "Ancient Mars" it should give u a picture of water on Mars, that's what it probably looked like in the dinosaur times. :)
"absence of green. if there is water, why isn't it growing anything? If there are no simple forms of life, then there will be nothing complex."
- this makes no sense, plants evolved on earth, why would mars have them?
"Mars has a solid core, which means no magnetic field. Which leads to No magnetic field. Solar radiation would bake that planet to a crisp." - which is odd because it hasnt
"Mars is too small. Small planet = small gravity" - yeh, fuck density AND REALITY.
@types10000 yeah, emphasis on "fossilized." And those fossils are probably from when Mars had a magnetic field and liquid core. As soon as the core hardened, look what happened to those algea. They're extinct and won't be evolving into Martians any time soon. And even under the surface, mere rock cannot prevent you getting baked or killed by radiation poisoning.
"They're extinct and won't be evolving into Martians any time soon. And even under the surface, mere rock cannot prevent you getting baked or killed by radiation poisoning."
- the fact they do exist means it was possible for life to exist on mars
- living under the surface DOES dampen the effect of radiation
"Mars is about half the size of earth, and has only 10% of our mass. That is reality."
- the reality is that it's 38% of Earth's gravity, and that you've failed to provide any reasoning as to why this would hinder the development of life.
@types10000 In my first post, I told you that the planet's gravity is too small to hold on an atmosphere thick enough to support life, or at least to shield it from solar radiation.
@types10000 Evidence? It's simple logic. The planet's gravity is only around 1/3 of our own. The heavy gases in our atmosphere that preserve and create life are absent in Mars. Look at the content in our atmosphere and the content in Mars'.
"Evidence? It's simple logic. The planet's gravity is only around 1/3 of our own. The heavy gases in our atmosphere that preserve and create life are absent in Mars. Look at the content in our atmosphere and the content in Mars'."
- you have failed to provide evidence that the gravity would have any effect
- for the heavy gases to have an effect your assuming the life would be aerobic (dependent on oxygen) which in the case of bacteria it probably wouldnt
@types10000 Gravity has an effect on everything on and around the planet; moons, landscape, rings, and atmosphere. Atmosphere is held to the planet by gravity. I don't need evidence; it's how gravity works. It's like asking for evidence that if I drop this apple, it will fall. And no, I'm not assuming life would be aerobic. Most life on Earth is aerobic, and our atmosphere is mostly nitrogen, a heavy gas that is able to seal in oxygen.
"Gravity has an effect on everything on and around the planet;"
- yes, however you have provided no basis for claiming mar's gravity is somehow detrimental to life. you just assume it without a shred of evidence.
"I'm not assuming life would be aerobic. Most life on Earth is aerobic, and our atmosphere is mostly nitrogen, a heavy gas that is able to seal in oxygen."
- you just did idiot, aerobic life depends on oxygen anaerobic life doesnt; it likes CO2
@types10000 Alright. Mars' gravity can only hold on to a thin atmosphere. We've gotten that far. Now, there are two ways a thin atsmophere could be detrimental to life:
1) It is unable to protect the surface from harmful debris and solar radiation
2) It is unable to create and maintain a stable global climate. Gravity affects atmosphere, atmosphere affects life, therefore, gravity affects life.
"Alright. Mars' gravity can only hold on to a thin atmosphere. We've gotten that far. Now, there are two ways a thin atsmophere could be detrimental to life..."
- what life? there are many different types and some are incredibly durable your blanket statement is fallacious.
"unable to protect the surface from harmful debris and solar radiation" - which doesnt stop it flourishing underground .etc which was one of the points evidenced in this very video.
@types10000 I'm repeating myself because I"m not quite sure I'm being fully understood. Let me try one last time, and you can have the last word. No life can survive on a planet being constantly baked by solar radiation. Even underground, when the planet has a solid core, there would be no geothermal activity, and even if there is any water whatsoever underground, it would be frozen or contaminated.
A steady global climate is needed for life, as well as a good atmosphere. Mars has neither.
"No life can survive on a planet being constantly baked by solar radiation"
- your statement is incorrect because only the surface of mars is being bombarded with solar radiation
- part of this solar radiation IS being negated by mar's atmosphere
- and just like on earth that solar radiation only penetrates the surface so far which is why (just as this video provides evidence for) there may be life under ground.
@types10000 No need to be calling names. You simply didn't quite understand my point. Mars' atmosphere is mostly CO2, yes, but that doesn't mean that the surface is. It's like how our atmosphere is mostly nitrogen, but down here, it's mostly oxygen. CO2 in the atmosphere of Mars can hardly keep the climate stable, never mind seal in much gas that could be used by life.
"No need to be calling names" - calling names voices my frustration with your utter ignorance of the subject, and since i addressed your claims it's perfectly acceptable.
"You simply didn't quite understand my point. Mars' atmosphere is mostly CO2...CO2 in the atmosphere of Mars can hardly keep the climate stable"
- i already addressed this; contrary to what you think many forms of bacterial life can survive under incredibly variable conditions.
@types10000 (cont.) Yes, bacterial life can survive under incredibly variable conditions, but solar radiation is not one of those conditions. And I understand the belief that life can survive underground, and I addressed that in a previous comment. And no, I didn't mention the lack of oxygen; I mentioned the lack of any gas in mars' lower atmosphere that could help life. the CO2 in the Martian atmosphere it mostly at the top, where it would do no good.
"Yes, bacterial life can survive under incredibly variable conditions, but solar radiation is not one of those conditions"
- solar radiation on mars (just like on earth) can only penetrate the surface so far.
"understand the belief that life can survive underground, and I addressed that in a previous comment."
- incorrect, you asserted that it couldnt by attempting to conflate the circumstances necessary for all life to survive with the conditions necessary for HUMAN LIFE
"And no, I didn't mention the lack of oxygen; I mentioned the lack of any gas in mars' lower atmosphere that could help life"
incorrect:
- you started by asserting that the high CO2 concentration would hinder life, after i pointed out to you that this only applies to aerobic life you changed your story, but you've failed to provide any evidence at all for it.
@types10000 The atmosphere of Mars is mainly carbon dioxide. Heck, it's not even enough carbon dioxide to maintain a very good greenhouse effect. This makes it impossible for Mars to maintain a steady global climate temperate enough to support life.
"That is how The planet's gravity affects atmosphere, and how the atmosphere affects the development of life on mars."
- the two problems you've mentioned are essentially lack of oxygen and variable temperatures, neither of which is a problem durable anaerobic life of which we have examples on our own planet.
you have failed to provide evidence that mars is incapable of supporting life.
@types10000 This will be the only comment that the Youtube inbox will tell you. I'll let you have the last word, and I'm done. Because neither of us really have anything new to say :p
"This will be the only comment that the Youtube inbox will tell you. I'll let you have the last word, and I'm done. Because neither of us really have anything new to say "
- yeh, i keep providing evidence and you keep you attempting to change your statements after i disprove them.
- the problem is that you provide no more evidence for your new statements than you do for the old ones.
@LongFingered your arguments against life on mars: a). low gravity b) absense of gases necessary for life. c) solar radiation d) absense of liquid water e) contamination of water My response: a). you've failed to provide any evidence this hinders life b). you've failed to cite any evidence for this at all c). solar radiation only prevents life on the surface d). there IS liquid water e). you provide no evidence AND what HUMANS regard as contaminated may not hinder bacteria
'The atmosphere of Mars is mainly carbon dioxide"
- and whilst this may be a problem for aerobic life it is NOT a problem for anaerobic life.
"Heck, it's not even enough carbon dioxide to maintain a very good greenhouse effect. This makes it impossible for Mars to maintain a steady global climate temperate enough to support life."
- INCORRECT, many species of bacteria are incredibly durable able to survive in a large variety of conditions.
@types10000 (cont) CO2 in the atmosphere is bad for Anaerobic life. Why? Because the CO2 is mostly in the upper atmosphere. There is very little near the surface, close to where life could exist.
@types10000 (cont)Just because the planet is constantly scorched with radiation does not mean that it's warm. At night, it can get -130 F. The highest recorded temperature is 68 F. Any water close enough to the surface to melt would be poisoned by radiation, and because there is no geothermal activity, the deeper water would still be frozen and unusable. Rock does dampen the effects of radiation, but not enough to save any liquid water.
Aliens of several planets (including Earth) are there all right, but many of their Crystal Cities have fallen into decay - just like Detroit or Babylon on Earth. Improvements in saucercraft allow them to have new asteroid homes & developments with side trips to Saturns Moons. US with light-lift TR 3B 4th gen Tri-Shifter have crazy idea to invade Mars for Colonization. Insanos think they can do to Aliens what they do to Afghan Goat herders! Run - they will be exterminated by transdimensionals!

Vid didn't mention cities detected on Mars - UFO's from all over, including the US, Russian, & Chinese militaries. And you wonder why these nicey, nicey sci-teach prod. are considered PROPAGANDA? One step up from Disneyland, goody feeling for sex & shopping! And no, the Aliens are NOT going to invade, they're going to SAVE Mars from OUR militaries invasion - among other things! Wake-up, crush Bof A with "sit-in" DOS measures. Execute your War Criminals, before they execute YOU. Bust TSA & so on.
All Earth religions are bogus because they make God in Man's image: therefore you get the Hubris of Man (pitifully) trying to be God. Chicks see the pattern and say, no the GODESS is the ONE! Then commit reverse Hubris. 57 or 86 ET species is easy to make sense of, once you realize they are all on the line of Field-Generation technology. Humans better get used to it, since their "Laws" are disintigrating, and new deeper Law knowledge is coming in with Alien organizing of Earth to fit GCW advent.
I think this a pretty good case as well is the apparent fossil PURPOSELY destroyed known on the Enterprisemission website as the The Curious Case of the NASA
Well, the problem for these military & neocon nuts, is that they sold everyone the "chestbeating" theory that "we" would "colonize" the planets - making BIG BUCKS for the Capitalist Corporate Elite. But it turns out that Galactic-Wide associations of 1000's of alien types - have ALREADY COLONIZED the Earth, for a long time! US wants to go everywhere on Earth, but not let Others go to US: Aliens are the same. They come here, but we forbidden to go THERE! Even kill those "out of line" militarists.
Free inexhaustible energy is real!But the Establishment doesn't want ppl to know this,if you want a real Free energy Magnet Motor, get the blueprints at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Be a part of the energy revolution!
WAIT... just like the moon of Earth, we havent been there,, ????? why cant peeps see these things as fact.. im a Christian, and i would be amazed if we find nothing on Mars..

Who knows.
ArtypNk 10 months ago
@ArtypNk Mars never had green grass, or trees, I'm pretty sure. Also, look up on google images "Ancient Mars" it should give u a picture of water on Mars, that's what it probably looked like in the dinosaur times. :)

five reasons why there can't be life on Earth:
1) absence of green. if there is water, why isn't it growing anything? If there are no simple forms of life, then there will be nothing complex.
2) Mars has a solid core, which means no magnetic field. Which leads to
3) No magnetic field. Solar radiation would bake that planet to a crisp.
4) Mars is too small. Small planet = small gravity, and scientists are finding that this is making the atmosphere drift away. It may totally leave.
5) No ozone.
LongFingered 1 year ago
@LongFingered
Small planet = small gravity" - yeh, fuck density AND REALITY.
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 Let me clarify:
1) by absence of green i meant absence of simple life. There's a character count on youtube, y'know. :p
2) It has, actually. It is constantly scorched by solar radiation, which means anything trying to survive there would be dead almost instantly.
3) Mars is about half the size of earth, and has only 10% of our mass. That is reality.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"by absence of green i meant absence of simple life. There's a character count on youtube, y'know. :p"
- but there is evidence of simple life, i am referring to the alleged fossilized bacteria specimen found on the Marshian meteorite ALH84001.
"It has, actually. It is constantly scorched by solar radiation, which means anything trying to survive there would be dead almost instantly."
- which doesnt make a difference at all as this video purposes it below the surface.
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 yeah, emphasis on "fossilized." And those fossils are probably from when Mars had a magnetic field and liquid core. As soon as the core hardened, look what happened to those algea. They're extinct and won't be evolving into Martians any time soon. And even under the surface, mere rock cannot prevent you getting baked or killed by radiation poisoning.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"They're extinct and won't be evolving into Martians any time soon. And even under the surface, mere rock cannot prevent you getting baked or killed by radiation poisoning."
- the fact they do exist means it was possible for life to exist on mars
- living under the surface DOES dampen the effect of radiation
types10000 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"Mars is about half the size of earth, and has only 10% of our mass. That is reality."
- the reality is that it's 38% of Earth's gravity, and that you've failed to provide any reasoning as to why this would hinder the development of life.
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 In my first post, I told you that the planet's gravity is too small to hold on an atmosphere thick enough to support life, or at least to shield it from solar radiation.

"In my first post, I told you that the planet's gravity is too small to hold on an atmosphere thick enough to support life"
a). you have failed to present any evidence of this
b). i have presented evidence to the contrary ie. the evidence of life on the the Marshian meteorite ALH84001
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 Evidence? It's simple logic. The planet's gravity is only around 1/3 of our own. The heavy gases in our atmosphere that preserve and create life are absent in Mars. Look at the content in our atmosphere and the content in Mars'.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"Evidence? It's simple logic. The planet's gravity is only around 1/3 of our own. The heavy gases in our atmosphere that preserve and create life are absent in Mars. Look at the content in our atmosphere and the content in Mars'."
- you have failed to provide evidence that the gravity would have any effect
- for the heavy gases to have an effect your assuming the life would be aerobic (dependent on oxygen) which in the case of bacteria it probably wouldnt
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 Gravity has an effect on everything on and around the planet; moons, landscape, rings, and atmosphere. Atmosphere is held to the planet by gravity. I don't need evidence; it's how gravity works. It's like asking for evidence that if I drop this apple, it will fall. And no, I'm not assuming life would be aerobic. Most life on Earth is aerobic, and our atmosphere is mostly nitrogen, a heavy gas that is able to seal in oxygen.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@LongFingered
- you just did idiot, aerobic life depends on oxygen anaerobic life doesnt; it likes CO2
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 Alright. Mars' gravity can only hold on to a thin atmosphere. We've gotten that far. Now, there are two ways a thin atsmophere could be detrimental to life:
1) It is unable to protect the surface from harmful debris and solar radiation
2) It is unable to create and maintain a stable global climate. Gravity affects atmosphere, atmosphere affects life, therefore, gravity affects life.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"Alright. Mars' gravity can only hold on to a thin atmosphere. We've gotten that far. Now, there are two ways a thin atsmophere could be detrimental to life..."
- what life? there are many different types and some are incredibly durable your blanket statement is fallacious.
"unable to protect the surface from harmful debris and solar radiation" - which doesnt stop it flourishing underground .etc which was one of the points evidenced in this very video.
types10000 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"It is unable to create and maintain a stable global climate. Gravity affects atmosphere, atmosphere affects life, therefore, gravity affects life."
- this in no-way means that it would be a problem for life in general as many types of life are incredibly durable.
your just repeating the same crap i've already addressed because you dont have a real argument.
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 I'm repeating myself because I"m not quite sure I'm being fully understood. Let me try one last time, and you can have the last word. No life can survive on a planet being constantly baked by solar radiation. Even underground, when the planet has a solid core, there would be no geothermal activity, and even if there is any water whatsoever underground, it would be frozen or contaminated.
A steady global climate is needed for life, as well as a good atmosphere. Mars has neither.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"No life can survive on a planet being constantly baked by solar radiation"
- your statement is incorrect because only the surface of mars is being bombarded with solar radiation
- part of this solar radiation IS being negated by mar's atmosphere
- and just like on earth that solar radiation only penetrates the surface so far which is why (just as this video provides evidence for) there may be life under ground.
types10000 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"solid core, there would be no geothermal activity, and even if there is any water whatsoever underground, it would be frozen or contaminated."
- whilst this may be a hindrance for HUMAN LIFE it is not a hindrance for ALL life namely incredibly durable bacteria
- furthermore there is evidence that liquid water IS on mars!

types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 No need to be calling names. You simply didn't quite understand my point. Mars' atmosphere is mostly CO2, yes, but that doesn't mean that the surface is. It's like how our atmosphere is mostly nitrogen, but down here, it's mostly oxygen. CO2 in the atmosphere of Mars can hardly keep the climate stable, never mind seal in much gas that could be used by life.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@LongFingered
- i already addressed this; contrary to what you think many forms of bacterial life can survive under incredibly variable conditions.
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 (cont.) Yes, bacterial life can survive under incredibly variable conditions, but solar radiation is not one of those conditions. And I understand the belief that life can survive underground, and I addressed that in a previous comment. And no, I didn't mention the lack of oxygen; I mentioned the lack of any gas in mars' lower atmosphere that could help life. the CO2 in the Martian atmosphere it mostly at the top, where it would do no good.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"Yes, bacterial life can survive under incredibly variable conditions, but solar radiation is not one of those conditions"
- solar radiation on mars (just like on earth) can only penetrate the surface so far.
"understand the belief that life can survive underground, and I addressed that in a previous comment."
- incorrect, you asserted that it couldnt by attempting to conflate the circumstances necessary for all life to survive with the conditions necessary for HUMAN LIFE
types10000 11 months ago
@LongFingered
"And no, I didn't mention the lack of oxygen; I mentioned the lack of any gas in mars' lower atmosphere that could help life"
incorrect:
- you started by asserting that the high CO2 concentration would hinder life, after i pointed out to you that this only applies to aerobic life you changed your story, but you've failed to provide any evidence at all for it.
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 The atmosphere of Mars is mainly carbon dioxide. Heck, it's not even enough carbon dioxide to maintain a very good greenhouse effect. This makes it impossible for Mars to maintain a steady global climate temperate enough to support life.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@LongFingered That is how The planet's gravity affects atmosphere, and how the atmosphere affects the development of life on mars.

- INCORRECT, many species of bacteria are incredibly durable able to survive in a large variety of conditions.
types10000 11 months ago
@types10000 (cont) CO2 in the atmosphere is bad for Anaerobic life. Why? Because the CO2 is mostly in the upper atmosphere. There is very little near the surface, close to where life could exist.
LongFingered 11 months ago
@types10000 (cont)Just because the planet is constantly scorched with radiation does not mean that it's warm. At night, it can get -130 F. The highest recorded temperature is 68 F. Any water close enough to the surface to melt would be poisoned by radiation, and because there is no geothermal activity, the deeper water would still be frozen and unusable. Rock does dampen the effects of radiation, but not enough to save any liquid water.
