As right as you are, Our local police are not the sort to waste their time with trivial cases such as thievery.
Instead they like to take people's bud off them to make their monthly crime target look good without doing any actual work.
Oh well. One day they might actually do their job, but until then, I won't bother with them.
You're right though. If our police worked, then I'd have told them.
