Im a BIG advocats of bitcoin. But Im also a Christian and have noticed that bitcoin *could* be used as a MOTB. As long as it remains in the hands of the people, and folks generate and use random addresses at will, we're safe. But if the government ever assigns a single address to everyone, and demands you use it and only it... and people foolishly OBEY... then we're screwed, because bitcoin is pretty much invulnerable at this point.

Bitcoin is the *people's* currency. It's a bottom-up approach that pre-empts the awful idea of a top-down global currency mandated and controlled by governments.

If you're against grassroots movements from the people, such as bitcoin - you're playing into the hands of those at the top who create bigger power structures.

There are a lot of people trying to bring out new currencies that are better than central bank money. You like central bank money or something? You realize the institution of central banking is responsible for just about all the suffering in the world right? If your God was real it would not allow central banking to strangle its people.
