well, thats the one thing i like about the green party in germany:

they really have a strong sense of morality, of right and wrong. secular, modern morality based on stuff like human rights and reduction of suffering. in germany, they reached some important political goals that they had: ending discrimination based on gender or sexuality, public funding of research was shifted from conventional to sustainable, green energy, and they even managed to add animal rights to the constitution.
