the pointer sister's hit was released in 1982,while other hits were released on that same date or the end of that year.so check the release of each hit, youll find its correct , i dont care which year it made the us or the uk top charts and became populare world wide , just try to enjoy the hits selection.

also that a note is bonnie tyler, lionel ritchie, and pointer sisters' singles didnt come til 1984. whats wrong with you people. some hit singles came out of 1983.

@Glamking1: The Pointer Sisters song was originally released in the US in 1982 and peaked at number 30. It was re-released in 1984 in the US and peaked that second time at number 9.
