The singer,Belle,sings about people who decide what you can do as an individual,making references to boarders hard to cross and countries chosing to prevent people from immigrating.She roughly says that those people are not very clever and only travel from their kitchen to their living room,which is their main focus.I would say that the song criticises the selfishness and ignorance of some influential rulers.Belle du Berry writes her lyrics and is influenced by surrealism & dada.
