@ 2:37 Thats false advertising. Electronic cigarettes are (give or take depending on brands and strenths) 30% vegitable glycerin or propylene glycol (both harmless in a gasious/liquid state), 65% water, 1-3% nicotine and 1-4% flavoring. Either way its an amazing invention

it is a great invention but its a pain in the ass. it requires more effort than to just smoke a REAL CIGARETTER. THEY NEED TO FIND OUT SOME WAY TO MAKE THE PROCESS A LITTLE EASIER.

Electric cigarettes has to be one of the most revolutionary inventions ever. I drink a lot with friends and for some reason get an overly compelling need to smoke and would burn through like 4 or 5 cigs the same night. When I use an e-cig not only is it 100% safer but I find myself smoking even less than I used to. I even turned all my friends on to e-cigs rather than the real thing. My uncle who smoked so much tried cold turkey and failed. I bought him an e-cig and he's never going back

I'm in my mid forties and have been smoking for about twenty years. During that time I've made many efforts to quit smoking and failed. Two months ago I started using electronic cigs and from one day to the next I stopped smoking and am now just vaping. Im sure any doctor would say vaping is safer than smoking. Id rather have a loved one using electronic cigarettes than analog ones any day.

As for the Netherlands - the crime rate is apples and oranges compared to the U.S. And the drug usage is also a problem, but a tolerance exists there due to a very different culture/society. America could learn a thing or two from the Netherlands. But not necessarily from drug use (gun control is a good one). I'm not debating anymore - I've said my piece. Regards.

You are arguing multiple points, as one. It won't help you understand the problem. Just as the marijuana debate is so insanely complicated by ignorant users and abusers who confuse facts with myths and combine it all into an argument. Addiction is bad - harmful mentally and physically. Any addiction should be resisted. From one addiction to another is typical in an addictive mind. It can/should be done - but people just don't want to, their weakness is overwhelming. But it can/should be done.

@FUCKSALT666 My points: Addicts use excuses posed here to justify their addiction - this does not support E-Cigs as a means to quit; rather, an alternative to an unhealthy behavior. Addiction is NOT our dependence on food and water - these are biological necessities that have evolved as a requirement of life: you can also be addicted to food (because of its components). E-Cigs are not healthy, nor do their manufacturers support elimination of addiction. All the way around, it's bad.

Now that E-Cigs are on the market, addicts (including people such as yourself) use this as a continuation of a serious problem that needs exterminating in our country. Simple. Stop justifying the problem and blaming those against addiction - stop using and encourage others to do so. Not by offering alternatives just as addictive. Simple.

The safe cig literally saved my mothers life. she was diagnosed with lung cancer in march of 2008 and even than she still smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day. 3 packs !!!!
