@DrAvrington Right now, where I live (Nova Scotia) is half under water due to massive rain and increase in tides. The army is out here, 350+ houses under water, and numerous bridges collapsed due to tides. It's VERY bad here at the moment. These events continue to become more prominent and occuring in greater succession over time, again data shows this. Real imperical data, you know, scientific gathering of information show this. These extreme percipitation trends are on the rise, unfortunately.

@DrAvrington Everywhere is getting huge amounts of percipitation, it just so happens ours is in the form of snow. PLEASE, look into it before throwing scientific studies out the window. All of this extreme weather across Canada is in fact the effect. This is very "general" but global warming causes more evaporation thus more snowfall. It causes an increase in precipitation secondary to an increase in evaporation. Whether that precipitation falls as snow or rain basically depends on the season.
