  • what kind do you think the frreighter was??

  • You know what would be awesome? If the freight elevators were see through and you could see inside the James River.

  • cool!!!!!!

  • Where do the freight elevators go? I'd assume the building above the tunnel as you were entering the tunnel

  • @gluse That is what i was thinking..

  • And when exiting the tunnel I think that other freight elevator goes up to another building above. You think you could check it out for me?

  • this tunnel has an elevator? i wonder how a freight boat is going to go there. probably destroying the tunnel

  • This place reminds me of the Channel Tunnel in between UK and France. But instead of road, their's is track.

  • Those elevators can be used to rescue a pack load of people at once and it can also be used to transport maintenance materials out from the tunnel and into the tunnel itself.

  • I think the tunnel is use for cars to drive under the sea. The ships sails over the tunnel.

We have a long tunnel in Australia :)

  • Were you driving your 1997 Ford Ranger XLT this time?

  • @maggio211 yep :)

  • That is a sweet tunnel. It would be awesome if you could film those elevators but I suppose you'd get in trouble.

  • Perhaps they are there (freight elevators) to transport repair/maintenance materials to the tunnels themselves, as the access through the tunnels isn't possible, without severe traffic james, or blockage altogether. This being the lanes go wall-to-wall.

  • were you in the truck or the car please reply

  • Elevator photography coming through :)

  • It is strange how there is an elevator in a tunnel.

  • gay lord your flourscxent light will fart and kill us.

  • @dieselducy That elevator is called a water elevator!

  • An elevator! In a tunnel? Underwater?

  • @jaemre288 Some large cites tunnels are under water. My mother is from BOston, and I remember going through tunnels when I was a little kid, and in later years she told me that the tunnels there are under the Atlantic Ocean

  • That was cool!

  • that elevator should stop in the River :D

  • That's a river? Holy crap.

  • so err, your driving and filming at the same time?

  • @cpDq231 He is not looking in the camera. Thats not a law!!!

  • Are you still in Trucking?

  • That is kinda cool
