It depends whether or not the story draws you in. It seems like this game could be very immersive. In that count, the graphics are important in this game because it helps with maintaining the cinematic feel- like watching an interactive movie.

It also depends on what type of games you enjoy... someone who likes online shooter games, for instance, will probably find this game boring and pointless. I've always been more of a fan of exploration/puzzle games, so I'd probably find this more fun.
