Tirisfal Glades / Barrens Bug found by swimming to northrend

i swimed from the troll vilige in wolotk and there was a small island somewere with all the races and a the bars of a cake and some buildings i went to the bars notging happened i left to inspect the building then i danced in the bars i died and got teleported to booty bay Wtf

same kinda thing happened when I tried to swim to the first of the two non-selectable islands near dustwallow on my warlock. using voidwalker shield, health pots, health stones, glyph of unending breath, and of course, two soulstones, I made it to the edge of the physical map, which is quite near the island, and fell off the edge. after falling for a few minutes, i clicked res and found my corpse about 10 feet above the ground in central dustwallow.

nope, because it is in a different instance, I managed to fly over to the mainland once, never reached it altho my map said I did.

the barrens seems to be a universal spirit healer, sometimes when bugging out in northrend instances you end up there.

Kalimdor, eastern kingdoms, outlands and northend are instanced. when you swim far enough the ocean ends, thats all.

this reminds me in old school days , my first char when i hit lvl 6 i bugged myself up in the mountainds in dun morogh on the"forbidden "zonez, i was on my way to the wetlands in the mountains i fell and ressed in elewyn forrest lmo :P

Northrend is a different zone, you cant swim there, because its actually not there, you can only get there by using zeppelin/boat. Its not really there, where you were swimming, it just shows it in map.

That's not a bug. When the game loses track of where you are, barrens is the deafult for Horde, Westfall for Alliance.

I remember when this happend to me somtime pre-tbc on my undead when I started out wow.

Decided to swim from northern tirisfal as far as it went, and then somehow I ended up in crossroads.

Lmao I was so confused, spent half an hour asking lvl 10 people who were just as unexperienced as me about the way back.

tried to fly from northrend -> tirisfal glades... doesn't work so dont attempt you'll go to an infinite ocean and die so you will have to spirit ress... and that is bugged again you will spirit ress in Westfall

I don't know if you had the chance to do it, but you could try to inervate yourself to regain a bunch of that mana.

Same thing happend to my hunter, while I was trying to swin to Silvermoon city. (was low low level Ally hunter...) So I tried to swim from around SM. Then suddently I was in the middle of ghostlands... So I keept swimming for a half hour, and i didnt get nowhere. So I drowned myself and was at the spirit healer in Westland. So I was like WTF. Nice vid. 5/5.

try taking off ur gear so u get low hp and the damage is lower but ur heals are high

then hell have low spell power, so hell have less health and heal for less, plus hell also have low MP5, so hed prolly last better with his gear on.

A few Swim Speed potions, health potions, mana potions and 2 glyphs to improve your swim speed in your swimming form and your there 8-)

This doesn't work, not because of the "invisible wall", but because each continent is on another world server. If you managed to get healed enough to make it to Northrend on the main map, there would just still be water.

Taking a portal, or a zeplin on the otherhand takes you cross-server, as does taking a BG portal.

Lol i tried it and my sould got released it Westfall. But if u have a few priests to heal you and a shaman to make you walk on water I guess you can do it, if there isnt any invisible wall.
