@smstew1 How? Did you even listen to the lyrics? It's just a song about America going to win against the Japanese in war. "Jap" is the worst word they say in the song. And even then that's not even a very harmful word.
@smstew1 You fucking moron. That's how it was 70 years ago. This song was a direct result of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. At that time they were not too concerned about being politically correct towards them. What an asshole you are.
the only thing i like out of japan is the sushi and there technology, Toyotas, Subarus and there gardens besides that there all Tojo and japs hahaha anything is i have relatives who fought in ww2 and he still calls Japanese people japs lol so racist
I am not sure which version i prefer as theyre both great both this original and the spike jones version . This was i suppose the spike jones pacific theater version to "der Fuhrer's face"
I have just removed a comment that used this song as a vantage point to discredit a politician I am sure many people admire - especially Americans. Do not misunderstand me: I believe in free speech and the right of everyone to express his opinions. This song, however, I posted as a piece of history and not as an encouragement or a model of political discussion. If you have the need to say something, feel free to do so, but please do not insult people on a page I feel responsible for!
I did not post this to make fun of a war that meant the loss of millions of people - anybody who is sick enough to do that does not need my assistance, I guess. But this is an important document, as it is the very first more or less artistically expressed response to Pearl Harbour. Personally, I don't think things get better over the years - one just gets used to the facts. It may always be too early for this or, if you're a pacifist, too late to prevent it, but reminders can be useful ...
Many people don't understand that if you censor politicaly incorrect things from the past to prevent others from knowing about it is exactly the same thing as saying that discrimination never existed. Our views have changed in the last 60 years, but everyone should know the truth of our past. As for this record, America really felt this way after the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. You posting this record is important for the education of our history.
This is pretty catchy.
