  • @ImRussianJew im from A Tribe called Dene Tha

  • culinary question 3:44..i see the meat was laying to dry..r nasty flies do not attacking it..how do they did it, to have a perfect jerky?

  • @ImRussianJew ; I have no idea but no doubt that if you google on 'Native American 'jerky you'll find information enough.

  • @arafel1964 :) its came out not Native American..but who knows what..but i like it :) thank you for responding :)

  • @ImRussianJew Im a Native in my peoples way we use smoke to dry the meat

  • @1ntoxicated1 I'm sure its yummy....love it already :) What Native tribe you are from?

  • @ImRussianJew It gets smoked anyways, it's like boiling water. Cleans it

  • @ImA1xSwitcher I have bought smocking "equipment" from home depot last fall, had no chance to try it yet, but will try this spring :):)..question ..do you dry it first and than smoke? (went t\h websites for direction..all directions mostly commercial..not actual jerky making "recipe" )

  • @ImRussianJew Dried first I presume, i never actually did it, but I seen it done, they just leave the meat in there with the door closed so no animals get it, meat's hanging to dry, then it's smoked i presume

  • does anyone know if those are real natives or just white man pretending to be? i hope those are really my ppl acting in this movie

  • im half Apache and half Cherokee and i have only seen part one of this movie and im thinking that imma love it but if white man win i riot lol :)

  • okijuhy

  • native americans.....ha.........they were there way before the murderuss americans...

  • It's brilliant how the languages are done - it makes you feel like you are one of the native people, not one of the greedy invaders... :o)

  • could they have used more natives? lol and the wig was harsh lol but good overall

  • MistahMaskwa.

I herd so many stories of him growing up

  • why dont they have the braids wait why cree tribe is this

  • "Hey, Support your fellow NDN's.. Check out TheRez2Rez for Native American Comedy... Were here to make you laugh.... The Good Medicine"

  • I love how this movie portrays its story from the perspective of the natives by having them speak in colloquial and fluent language easily understood by the audience, while having the scheming foreigners talk in silly gibberish. Very nicely done. Thank you Arafel1964.

  • @Acerb45666555 No offense but, wake up and smell historical reality. Religious figures are FIRST members of and agents for the societies that produced them, and only SECONDARILY followers of some goofy religious code that was set up to worship some imaginary deity but throughout history more often is used to prop up those in power by fooling the people.

  • Oh no, horrible. The Ayisiniwak speak English to each other, stupid producers.

  • @jackdemos I'm pretty sure that's to ensure the English-speaking watchers of the film (such as myself) would understand them. ;) But I agree, it would be much nicer if they were to speak in their native language (with English subtitles, of course).

  • What language was the guy with the red coat speaking?

  • It's great to finally see a movie on the history of the Cree in Canada.

  • cree is racist word

  • @LearnOjibweWithSagii Really? What does it mean?

  • @puritymom it was made 1998, filmed on the Pasqua First Nations Reserve, Saskatchewan, Canada

  • lmao at 9:18!

  • Does anybody know when this movie is made???

  • How can I get a copy of this film?

  • I've no idea. I downloaded this from a Dutch speaking website for, let's say, 2 dollars and then used WMM to edit it.

Maybe your local library has it?.

You can include this movie on a website but which program you need to downlaod it on your website and then back to your pc to set it on cd-rom/dvd/blue-ray I have no idea.

  • @puritymom Try ioffer.com I just bought stolen women, captured hearts from there a couple of days ago......they might have this. Good luck finding it!! :)

  • 8:56........how obscene! Holy men doin the governments dirty work! a True priest does not do the will of avaricious politicians! not in my book!

  • @acerb45666555 But I thought the Church and the government working together to "save" the Indian. Isn't that what the residential schools were all about?

  • @p00ner2010 ...... the freaky thing is that as Ottawa thought it was helping "civilize" the tribes, Ottawa also behaved in a most uncivilized manner by denying and ridiculing with unforgivable condescension, the entire cultural-political structures of the tribes. hence the banning of native languages and songs in residential schools.

  • Aww look, the bell boy union came to pick a fight...I would have fallen off my horse lmao, then I would have thrown him my pack and asked him to show me to my tent..the freak..looks so scary with his lil hat placed neatly to the side..lmao
