@ImA1xSwitcher I have bought smocking "equipment" from home depot last fall, had no chance to try it yet, but will try this spring :):)..question ..do you dry it first and than smoke? (went t\h websites for direction..all directions mostly commercial..not actual jerky making "recipe" )
@ImRussianJew Dried first I presume, i never actually did it, but I seen it done, they just leave the meat in there with the door closed so no animals get it, meat's hanging to dry, then it's smoked i presume
I love how this movie portrays its story from the perspective of the natives by having them speak in colloquial and fluent language easily understood by the audience, while having the scheming foreigners talk in silly gibberish. Very nicely done. Thank you Arafel1964.
@Acerb45666555 No offense but, wake up and smell historical reality. Religious figures are FIRST members of and agents for the societies that produced them, and only SECONDARILY followers of some goofy religious code that was set up to worship some imaginary deity but throughout history more often is used to prop up those in power by fooling the people.
@jackdemos I'm pretty sure that's to ensure the English-speaking watchers of the film (such as myself) would understand them. ;) But I agree, it would be much nicer if they were to speak in their native language (with English subtitles, of course).
I've no idea. I downloaded this from a Dutch speaking website for, let's say, 2 dollars and then used WMM to edit it.
Maybe your local library has it?.
You can include this movie on a website but which program you need to downlaod it on your website and then back to your pc to set it on cd-rom/dvd/blue-ray I have no idea.
@puritymom Try ioffer.com I just bought stolen women, captured hearts from there a couple of days ago......they might have this. Good luck finding it!! :)
@acerb45666555 But I thought the Church and the government working together to "save" the Indian. Isn't that what the residential schools were all about?
@p00ner2010 ...... the freaky thing is that as Ottawa thought it was helping "civilize" the tribes, Ottawa also behaved in a most uncivilized manner by denying and ridiculing with unforgivable condescension, the entire cultural-political structures of the tribes. hence the banning of native languages and songs in residential schools.
Aww look, the bell boy union came to pick a fight...I would have fallen off my horse lmao, then I would have thrown him my pack and asked him to show me to my tent..the freak..looks so scary with his lil hat placed neatly to the side..lmao

It's brilliant how the languages are done - it makes you feel like you are one of the native people, not one of the greedy invaders... :o)
