After listening to the Genesis and Arcade versions, I think the SNES version OWNS both of them hands down. The other two are just boring and they put me to sleep. This is exciting and makes me actually want to play,

I thought the Megadrive/Genesis version was better in all ways, except the opening theme music. I always was under the assumption this was a direct recreation of the arcade machine's music (unlike the Sega version) but unless MAME has not all originel versions available, the main these even on MAME is less impressive than this one.

NBA Jam is a pretty cool game. It & Arch Rivals (found on Midway Arcade Treasures 2) are my 2 favorite Basketball video games.

I heard that the Arcade versions of 1 of the NBA Jam games had Mortal Kombat characters (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden & Reptile if I recall) as secret playable characters but they weren't in the home console ports.

Oh well, at least there's Sal Divita (who played Sektor, Cyrax, Smoke & Nightwolf in Mortal Kombat 3) in the home console ports.

I used to play this game at my big cousin's house, and I loved the music! Too bad they didn't put music during gameplay in this version like they did all the other ones. Better than my Genesis version.
