Mere bhai...it comes from faith. From believing in the words you´re singing. Many ppl just shake and dance to Allah ho but once you dwell on the meaning of it, it´s very profound and meaningful.

However, Shafqat bhai is a great singer but....as a Pakistani, having watched countless versions of this song....let me tell you that the true "samaa" in this qaul has been done by Abida jee and the great ustaad NFAK. If you ever get the chance to attend....

...attend one of Abida Parveen jee´s concerts....you´ll be mindblown! When she sings, you feel vibrations coming towards you in the audience. No joke! I was sitting on the second row at one of her concerts and I could feel something coming towards me PHYSICALLY and it was very peaceful and sort of hypnotising. I felt like closing my eyes and felt a bit dizzy almost. I think it´s because real Sufi singers aren´t focused on the audience or praise, their focus is on the divine power...

...power that most of us human beings feel but we have different names for it, like Allah, God, Ishwar, Buddha or Jahve. Once you feel Allah swt...whatever you may call him....and once you realise that there´s a power up there that wants you to spend your life in peace and kindness....there´s really nothing better. And I think this is what the Sufis focus on. They´re all about the depths and true message of Islam, not about forcing your views on fellow human beings. Peace!

@darknessrum u are right, absoulotely right!!!!!!! evry one who knows a ting or 2 about music will tell that shafqat is more tayyar and verstaile BUT u also cant ignore age factor,,,,,,,,rahat is also very good and getting better

I don't care what other feels but Shafqat Amanat is better than Rahat Ali khan . Ye bande ki awaaz badi ruhani hai. Rahat ali me vo dum nahi hai.
