is it just me or do other people read what poirot says like he would actually say it with his accent also im reading the comments like this and speakin in a poirot accent as i write this.
the attire awesome , classy and dignified, my great gran was young in the 1930's. told me you wouldn't think of walking out if the house without a hat. ....
I cannot thank you enough.I have been a huge fun of the series since i was 10 years old and i remember when an episode ended i could not wait another week for the next. I still recall this series gave me goosebumps-in a good way.The acting of Mr Suchet, the music, the cases...they still do actually :) Thank you from my heart!
@doctorwhom1 Ah, but he has the benefit of pre-fab dialouge that is favorable to him. Try that yourself on the street sometime. You may be ignored or humiliated.
On the other hand, I hate it if men start a conversation just assuming they know more than me... Everything Poirot says is known to everyone who has ever been to Paris, isn't it? So don't beat yourself up und just try a smile next time. ;o)
I agree with everyone first of all thanks soooooo much for uploading these, makes my life so much more exciting i loooooove Agatha Christie's ...everything... got hooked very young, i don't think it would be Poirot without David Suchet he's the best a few years ago i didn't even know the series existed and as I was flipping through the channels I saw a couple seconds of one of the episodes and knew right away it was Poirot he fits Agatha's description of him, I think he was made for this series.
I LOVE Agatha Christie! She's amazing....think of all the murders she could have done and got away with it lol. I have most of her books but only recently got Death In The Clouds. Finished it today and wow! It's here on Youtube!! Awesome!! Reading her books is always like coming home to me, they're like old friends :) Thanks Mom, for getting me hooked on Christie! And David Suchet you ROCK too!
I agree with Aylviana - it always seems to be the same people who watch and comment on these videos. Ah, well. At least the lot of us have excellent taste!
Thank you very much, Blauwpauwtje! Btw, how do you pronounce your screen name?

I envy Poirot's social skills, I love how he can walk up to a pretty woman, pick up her book, and have a perfectly nice (if one sided) conversation.

David Suchet was a more human character, with Phillip Jackson, Hugh Fraser and Pauline Moran around.

When I first read this novel I thought I was terribly clever in that I'd worked out that the flute was obviously used to fire the poisoned dart.
Hmm...
