Dreadful cover for 1 reason...in the chorus, it should revolve, around C D and E MAJOR, and they go to e minor...why? it makes it so tonally dull and boring, implies they have a very limited grasp of musical harmony...ruins an otherwise fine cover.

@elmosexwhistle first of all thats not the key its in and second of all it was in drop tuning meaning it uses the 1st the 5th and the 8th. any musician knows that the third differentiates between major and minor. without the third its all up to context. we had the major in there originally, but the way we rewrote the song we decided to give it a dif sound and change the harmony. Im a music major in college, trust me the minor was done on purpose.

To have the gall to take a purely original, beautiful song like this and remake it is definitely worth points. But that they were so true to the melody makes it GOOD. It seems that the same thing that all of these rock versions (ALL of them, what I've heard) fall short in, is the bridge. They deviate too much and take out a lot of the harmony that makes the song beautiful. But this is, so far, the best rock version I've heard.
