Face it, Sting isnt going to WWE. He's arguably the most popoular and well known wrestlers not to work for Vince. Maybe thats a good thing considering how Vince is treating his employees. Sting is very loyal to the business which is why he's still in it despite his age. i've seen them do it quite a bit actually. and you can ALWAYS be sure that at some point in tna impact shows that "security" will have to hold people apart every week, which lasts for around 5-10 mins because they dont have the appropriate talent to fill a 2 hour slot properly but it wrecks the show for the fans, bottom line, WWE BETTER THAN tna. they have the cash, the talent and the writers but most of all the wwe and worlds titles have prestige tna doesnt have that yet.

if that were the case Vince would've tried to sign guys like aj instead of jeff, BUT ANYTHING AJ CAN DO, JEFF CAN DO and vice versa, but it was jeff that raised the bar for risk taking, you can say it's just falling but from the heights he has done, that is the risk, and shane falling 50 foot on to big show in a last man standing match too helped set the bar even higher, aj is yet to surpass the mark jeff and shane set! (more jeff though, shane's i grant was a one off thing really).

You do know that the intercontinental title used to be a main-event level belt (it was always *just* below the WWF title - as opposed to where it is now - miles below the WWF title), it's only since the brand split that WWE felt the need to have two world titles.

yeah i did know that, but you cant give one brand a "WORLDS" title and the other an "INTERCONTINENTAL" (it sounds less prestigious) they would've had to rename the belt so they bring in the world heavyweight title to match the wwe title and the u.s title to match the ic on both shows, and i cant blame vince for doing it, he spent a ton on buying wcw so why not use their belts for his own gain? i like the current wwe format but i agree the ic title has lost a lot of prestige since the 90's.
