  • It's cute watching you guys argue over this stuff considering there is no evidence that supports even the existence of God. Adorable.

  • @ryanandrewmartin Actually there is evidence that supports intelligent design. There is more evidence for God than for Atheism. Check out the book " I don't have enough faith to be an Atheist" By Norman Giesler or read anything by Dr. William Lane Craig. Believing in God is not foolish or illogical, difficult for some maybe, but not illogical.

  • @ThePeaches01234 .......wrong you are but thanx for the comment

  • @TrickTrolan Actually right again; and you are someone who has done no research whatsoever. Be careful about defending and choosing to follow false prophets because it is a mistake and you need to stop turning a blind eye and start looking at the facts!

  • Using the Evangelical logic the Doctrine and Covenants is more authoritative thqan the Bible since all of its archealogical sites have been proven whereas not so with the Bible. And who is this "Mormon" playing the pawn in this movie? How about an actual LDS scholar?? Oh well this looks like a movie which has had it's arguments already refuted by FARMS or FAIR.

  • To use an atheist tactic, " I think Mormons have NO faith because they can't believe in an all powerful flying pink unicorn that comes down from the sky. You don't believe in that, so OBVIOUSLY you have no faith whatsoever.

  • Is there no end to the unending idiocy of Mormons!? Satan's first LIE to humanity was that they could become gods!!! (Gen 3:5) You have fallen for that hook line and sinker! Not only is there no evidence for the book of Mormon, it is all wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So don't tell me "Oh, you just don't have faith" because I know that faith is having an infallible book that answers most of the questions, and those it doesn't answer I have the faith to know happened.

  • @kameyu1000 I know there are alot of falcities in the Mormon church, I served a mission, read the Bible a number of times and the Book of Mormon even more. Are you referring to the Book of Mormon being all wrong or the evidence of it?? if you are saying the Book of Mormon itself is all wrong than you are greatly mistaken! If you have done any resarch into Mormon doctrine, the serious doctrinal issues are post BofM. Joseph used the Bible along with a number of other sources to create the BofM.

  • Sad, to see people believing all this. One day you guys will know and i pray for everyone to open their hearts and know that our heavenly father loves us so much. Their is a true prophet on this earth he loves us and guide us. I respect anyone's opinion, but come on. Us LDS people don't talk smack about any other religion. LEAVE US ALONE! We do no harm, we believe and god and our savior Jesus Christ, we strive to chose the right, and if you ever meet a "bad" LDS tell them to go back to church!

  • @ldsgirl781 You are right, your not intentionally harming anyone. And these people love you enough to try to show you at least the truth that Mormonism IS NOT Christianity. You can believe what ever you want about God, he gave you that right, but when you call your church Christian it deserves some scrutiny. We are commanded to call out false prophets and false gospels. There is nothing unloving in trying to show people the truth about God, and reveal the lies of false teachings.

  • @ldsgirl781 The LDS people may not directly talk badly about other religions, but it is in their teachings. They taught that all other churches were purchased by SATAN. They teach that the bible is not sound doctrines because it is corrupted. They teach that Jesus suffering is not enough for Salvation and that one day, in the highest level of exultation they may become God's(eternal progression), which true Christians see as blasphemy. These are offensive and hurtful doctrine to any Christian.

  • @ldsgirl781 LEAVE YOU ALONE? That would be all good an fine, except that the true Jesus of the bible (NOT Mormon Jesus) told each and every true christian to teach all nations. I would be more than happy to leave the LDS people to their imminent damnation, except that I feel for each and every one of you. I don't want each and every LDS person to go to hell because they placed their faith in the wrong Jesus (2 Cor. 11:4) and because you zeal isn't based in knowledge (Romans 10:2). God bless.

  • @kameyu1000 I am a ex-mormon and want other mormons to wake up and see the deception they are in. I have a special love for mormons because I understand their heart. I was once there too. Until I was shown the truth. Joseph Smith is the false prophet that Jesus warned about in ST.Mathew ch 7 vs 15. He has decieved millions. Please keep witnessing to Mormons in love and respect so they can gain the truth and knowledge they need in order to leave and come to know the true Jesus.

  • The LDS church is nothing more than a Pseudo-Christian cult. End of Story.

  • @TrickTrolan Wheres your proof asshole

  • READ THE BOOK OF MORMONS AND THE BIBLE. DO YOU KNOW WHAT GOD DOES TO THOSE WHO CHANGE HIS WORD??? JOSEPH SMITH DID JUST THAT! I PRAY FOR MORMONS. I KNOW VARIOUS OF THEM AND THEY'RE INDEED GOOD PEOPLE WHO ARE BEING LURED BY THE LATTER DAYS EVIL ONE. TRUE CHRISTIANS MUST PRAY FOR THEM - NOT ARGUE W/ THEM! IT'S GOD'S SPIRIT WHO SEARCHES THE HEART OF A PERSON AND THOUGH IT'S IMPORTANT FOR CHRISTIANS TO PROCLAIM GOD'S TRUTHS, WE MUST REMEMBER TO DO SO IN DISCERNMENT & IN LOVE. THE REST IS UP TO GOD.

  • Greg Gifford is not LDS and is most likely an Ex-Mormon invited to play the role of an Active Latter-day Saint. Majority of Lay Mormon's are not that ignorant of such information as Gifford is portraying them. Another deceptive tactic for the coffers of another counter-cult ministry who is solely built to receive funds for their lies and deceptions.

  • Here is the Reality, if the test of a prophet is empirical evidence to deny the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith, then we also need to apply the same logic and test to that of Isaiah, Ezekiel and Jeremiah. Why? Because there are false prophecies that never came true. For instance, what of the prophecy given about Tyre being conquered by Nebuchadnezzar, but never was fulfilled until Alexander the Great conquired Tyre?

  • Hi,

When are you going to release the sequel to this film? It’s entitled: “Living Hope Ministries Vs. Greg Gifford”?

  • If the Apostle Paul was willing to take a test of scruitney expressed in Gal 1:5-9. Then why should any other "so called" prophet of God accepted with such ease? No one who claims to be a man of God should not be taken lightly. And with Joseph Smith and the B.O.M the test given by Paul and any other Holy man of God should not be taken lightly.

  • I only have two questions: 1) Who is Greg Gifford? If he truly is a Mormon, he does not truly understand Mormonism and is not in a capacity to answer these questions, nor provide objective refutation to the strawman arguments made in this DVD; And, 2) Why not ask people like Daniel Petersen or actual LDS Scholars, and seek out people from Biblical Archaeological Review, as well as other Archaeologists, Linguists, and that?

  • At the end of the documentary, the Christian says to the Mormon, (paraphrased) "it should be very simple- Jesus said we must be as little children. Trying to harmonize these contradicting books is just impossible..." then he takes the Book of Mormon and Smith's "translation" off the bible... he says, "simple."

As an atheist and ex-Christian myself, I thought... "I know an easy way to make it simpler than THAT."

  • I have read the book of mormon over 20 times and believed in it in the past. If mormonism has the same truths than Christianity, plus additional revelations, then I doesn't hurt to look at what Christians teach. After all, they will only have the incomplete idea, right? I don't understand why mormons fear Christians so much.

  • @freitas15 Ur last sentence shows how little u know of the LDS faith.Um christians are believers and followers of Christ which LDS happen to be.

  • @TrickTrolan I know the LDS faith from inside out. I was baptized mormon 20 years ago and did all the expected jobs, callings, rites of passage, mission, temple ceremonies, you call it, I've done it.... The mormon church wants to be looked as Christian as the other churches but it's belief system differs completely from the rest. It uses the same vocabulary but the words have different meanings. The attributes of God, the role of Jesus and the even the word grace are not the same

  • @freitas15 And thru all that u never once showed Our Savior any faith or believed in Him. You let foolish words of man corrupt ur mortal mind, instead of seeking answers and truth thru prayer toThe Almighty. You simply went thru the motions of being, what u interpret,a Latter-Day Saint. And I hope for ur sake u have never felt the inspirings of the Holy Ghost and now choose to deny ever having. In case you forgot, this sin is Unpardonable! If u never have felt Him,then this is y you don't believe.

  • @TrickTrolan First Nephi, chapter 13, in the Book of Mormon says plain and precious things were taken out of the Bible by evil men. Essentially the Book of Mormon is affirming that the Bible is corrupt. That it's not everything that it's supposed to be. This video provides some evidence for the truthfulness of the Bible and defends the Bible from this attack from the Book of Mormon. It compares Joseph Smith's translation of the Bible, from Isaiah, with the Isiah scrolls that were found (cont...)

  • @TrickTrolan (cont...) in the Qumran caves. These "Dead Sea Scrolls" are dated about 300 B.C. Comparing this Isaiah w/ Joseph Smith's transation, we see that whole chapters were added that are not found in the original Isaiah scroll. JS was literally writing himself in to Isaiah when he added the prophecies about his own coming. If the Mormon belief is that the corruption of the Bible happened after the last apostle died, the original Isaiah scroll (dated 300 B.C) should match JS translation

  • @freitas15 Bogus excuses, by leaving The Saviors church you defeat the whole reason for being on this earth! Faith and a sincere desire to be His disciple will bring you the answers you seek. Now stop leaning toward your own understanding and that of man. Go to Him in earnest prayer and ask Him for the knowledge you desire and come back. He loves you.... We,The Latter-Day Saints, love you! Do not let the adversary cloud your mind with doubt and need for proof of physical evidence.Have Faith!

  • @TrickTrolan When you seek answers for truth, What exactly do you mean? Have you ever questioned the church? Have you ever read Joseph Smith's original teachings? Brigham Young? Have you ever read your bible in entirety? Have you ever heard of Herbert W. Armstrong? Or Mohammad? They too were supposedly chosen by God to restore a corrupted gospel and their followers believe in them with a sincere heart and unquestioning faith that their church is true, but does that make it so?

  • @jeannabrewer Why are you asking me questions about matters that should be taken up with Our Father in Heaven? Prayer is the answer to every question you have asked. It won't matter what I tell you, you need to go to the source and find out for yourself.

  • @TrickTrolan What makes you think I havent asked God? I am asking you because I know what God says but I am not so sure you do. You want the LDS church to be true more than you want God. You probably have built your entire life around the church so you don't have room for God. It's like being part of an exclusive club and your reward is becoming a God and having an eternal family, you feel like your better than other people, thus your good feelings while praying about whether the church is true.

  • All who have commented are Faithless an small minded, and understand nothing about the Plan of Salvation nor the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You condemn anything that has no visual or archeological proof. You haven't read the Book of Mormon in it's entirety let alone any of it, you mock A Prophet of the Lord(who Jesus chose Himself)to restore His Church once again to the earth.Answers to Sprirtual Matters should be takin up with Our Father in Heaven and Him alone, period

  • Comment removed

  • If answers to "Spiritual Matters" will be taken up with God, how will you explain following a false prophet that wrote a fake book that refutes the Bible? The Bible being the King James version not Joseph Smith's. Prepare yourself.

  • @77NMK READ the Book of Mormon, then I'll be glad to converse with you

  • @TrickTrolan First off, I have other fictional books that I'd rather tackle. Second, the book of mormon is just a hook and precursor to the real crazy, which is your D&C and pearl of great price. But, when your church is done translating the Kinderhook plates that Joe Smith started for you, I'd love to look at those. In fact, I'll make a deal with you, I'll commit to reading the book of mormon once the LDS church finishes translating the Kinderhook plates and publishes them. Get your hat.

  • @77NMK I see your looking for contention, well you came to the wrong guy. And you like many others are in for a rude awakening when alls said and done. READ the Book of Mormon

  • @TrickTrolan There is one sin that God said he will never forgive and that is blasphemy of the Lord, hmm looks like you mormons are screwed come judgement day huh.. you pigs worship a scumbag named joseph smith who got a visit by satan and NOT Jesus Christ because Jesus doesnt want any part of someone who chooses satan... Easter is coming up and guess what mormons we celebrate Jesus Christ, hes the one who suffered and died for our sins.. NOT that scumbag joseph smith

  • @Whyzitsotough pure ignorance

  • @Whyzitsotough Reread my last reply, thats all you deserve

  • @TrickTrolan Don't tell me what to do, its bad enough that the mormons are compared to the muslim terrorist in their mind thinking but you are NOT going to sit here and tell this Catholic anything... I don't read what a mormon says and believe it, the mormons are liars.. funny how you mormons seem to talk about the prophet of satan joseph smith more so then usual around Christmas and Easter, I guess thats satans way of sending his mormon children out to try and make Gods children forget Jesus

  • @Whyzitsotough Oh brother is this chainstick88 AGAIN...dude get a life you transparent fool. And try an stick with one account cause your imature rants give you away everytime, so changin your name ah DOESN'T WORK. unreal Lol

  • @TrickTrolan Oh now you're grasping straws now. what an idiot you are. Can you show me physical proof that I have another name.. didn't think so, sounds to me as if you're feeling exposed. Oh and prove to me that I am the only one in the world that hates mormonism there are more of us out there that hate your demonic cult then those who don't. You look pathetic, grasping straws by accusing me of being someone else

  • @TrickTrolan There are many problems with your statement. The first being that all that commented are faithless and small minded. The second that they don't understand anything about the Plan of Salvation nor the gospel of Jesus Christ. The third and biggest is that we haven't read the BOM. I live in Salt Lake City in the heart of Mormonism. I have read your BOM, Journal of Discourses, Some parts of the Pearl of Great Price, and your doctrines and covenants. If you are Mormon you don't know

  • this is why true Christians Bible only Believing Christians have a problem with mormonism. Mormonism strives to be Christian all the while not adhering to the scriptures of the Bible, calling the Bible not trustworthy, and calling the rest of Christendom false and of the devil (Joseph Smith said this in his 1st Vision which he seemed to have 8 or 9 different versions of). Joseph was a false prophet because he taught there were many Gods in the King Follett Discourse. Violating Isaiah 43:10

  • Also he put people back under old testament law, taught gnosticism as a freemason and even stole the wives of other married men and married them behind their backs. He also prophesied that in 50 years Jesus would come back. He pulled a Harold Camping. He even changed the Book of Revelation in his JST of the bible. So that alone condemns him to hell

  • @TrickTrolan I am ex Mormon. Served a mission. Good at it too. Have to tell you, I know everything you have to say and more about Mormon doctrine than most active Mormons have even heard. I have to tell you, I understand you think you're defending the Gospel of Christ, but Christ word stands on its own without your help.

  • @TazmanianFrenzy Praise God. I am a ex-mormon too, born and raised and it is the REAL history and evidence against the BOM that made me leave the church. God does not expect us to follow in blind faith. That is why there is physical, linquistic, actual places, maps and DNA evidence supporting the Bible. None for the BOM because it simply did not happen. Joseph Smith was the biggest con-man ever and used ideas from other books and plagerised from the Bible to create the BOM.

  • @TrickTrolan You make a mistake in assuming that God expects us to follow in blind faith. He does not. That is why the Bibile is backed up with Archaelogical, DNA, and linquistic evidence and facts. The book of mormon does not have a leg to stand on and not only lacks evidence but has evidence agains't it. We can prove dinosours existed millions of years ago because they actually did. There is no physical or DNA evidence for the BOM because it did not happen.

  • @TrickTrolan Here we go with the Mormon blinders on again. God does not expect us to follow in Blind faith. There is no archeological evidence for the book of mormon because it didn't happen. Joseph Smith stole from a fictional book "view of the Hebrews" that was published in his area 5 years before the book of mormon, using the same storyline he than threw the bible into it and voula you have the BOM.DNA evidence even proves American Indians are from east asia not israel.Wake up!

  • @ThePeaches01234 ....wrong again....2 for 2 so far, great consistency! Thanx again for comment though

  • @TrickTrolan yeah, i read it. most unbelievable thing i've read to date. no evidence to support anything that Joe claims to be true. on the other hand, the bible has much that can be backed up with physical evidence, yet BOM has none. As for a Prophet of the Lord? When a prophet predicts one thing to come true, and it does not, what does that tell you? Well, Joe didn't have a good track record in predictions, so he must fit in the false prophet category? What does your blind faith say

  • @TrickTrolan Faith is only as good as the object in whom it is placed. Yours is misguided and blind. Even Bon Jovi knows mormonism is a lie.

  • @TrickTrolan You should watch the movie than comment. I'll buy you a copy if you give me your address.

  • @jeannabrewer ?????

  • Jesus Christ is the only way to God, not some scum eating pedophile named joseph smith

  • Some Mormons are coming over to my house today.

I wish I had this video to share with them.

  • Just watched. AMAZING!!!

  • The Documentary is real good. I saw it last night. Thank you for shedding more light on the truth of Mormonism.

  • I am not sure I would see this. I feel that putting both the Bible and the BOM, the Quoran or about any work of faith you will likely run into an historical glitch or two. These books are works of faith, and were never meant to be profound history books. So what is the purpose of making a movie like this?

  • @myway43

The Bible is a book of faith AND history

  • @PassionForHisWord , Hi , even though I know the Bible to be inspired by God, most biblical scholars would find problems as far as it's historical content. I do not doubt the Bible at all, I just do not look at it as the end all be all of historical documents

  • @myway43 I wouldn't agree with that. The Bible is considered to be extremely reliable by archaeologists, and there have been a lot of archaeological discoveries confirming certain historical events spoken of in it.

  • @myway43

To see if they stand scrutiny. You have a misunderstanding of the term faith, simply blindly believing something does not make it true. Christianity has never claimed faith is a blind leap in the dark, some Christians may, but they would be mistaken

  • Can't wait to see it!
