I think that Boris does very well when performing Liszt etudes, but when it comes to Chopin, I personally think that his playing leaves a bit to be desired.
I'm not even going to try to critique the Godowsky Etude, as anyone who has played one will tell you that they are monstrously difficult, and though they sound like Chopin Etudes, the technical skill involved in playing them is much higher. The mere fact that Berezovsky had this concert is a testament to his ability.

I hate people who play the beginning of this etude like a panzy {like him...} and he screws with timing which he shouldn't cause this song has such a strong beat....and wtf is up with the staccato like ending? yeah overall not good at all....oh well
I believe the godowsky transcription for the Op.10 No.4 can be played better but Berezovksy brought out the wrong parts instead of the melody...It sounded like the melody just merged with the other notes...
How brilliant, strong and quiet his left hand!!
What a great pianist!!!
His interpretations always impress and impact us deeply and strongly.
