Please correct me if I am wrong (I am a "Hobbyist in Sociology"):

It just dawned on me that (since we are looking at technological "advancement") technological development, and perhaps sociological development, may be proportional to population density which may account for the apparent stagnation of development after the Black Plague events. Of course, post-plague, people were consumed with survival and the rials of rebuilding a "lost society."

Did you know that to this day oak trees are rare, and very few are older than 200 years, in Denmark, due to your theft of our beloved ships.
