Mario and Peach ARE the hardest fight in Adventure Mode next to Pokemon Stadium. And it's not just Pikachu's range. There are 2 problems with this fight. First, it's hard to combo them, because the other one will interrupt your combo with a jab or something. The second reason is the stage. The key to fighting 2 opponents is to try to separate them so that they won't get in the way. However, the design of Peach's Castle makes that very hard to do.

Just s tip: on the underground maze instead of walking THROUGH the link fighting thing you can simply jump up and over it and u can skip the fighting part

Good job. In underground maze, you can skip those fights with Link by jumping over and past the master sword if i'm not mistaken (unless you want to fight the Links)

C-stick can't be used as smashes on 1P mode, it moves the camera only. You can do that in Brawl though.

u can only use c stick on multi player mode in melee, not 1P mode. and actually u can charge it, just hold the z button as u smash with c

You know you can skip fighting Link. Just don't go onto the stage if it has the Master Sword in the middle, jump over instead.
