Eh. I prefer the more mysterious aspect, as the book never clearly said that the boy was thrown from the window. At least it allowed for more imagination, and then you could realise what happened from the twin's actions later on.
@NovaFur It DOES say he was pushed, the "The things I do for love" line was even in it. Well, not so much PUSHED, per se, he was hanging on by the tips of his fingers and Jaime released his grip, but it was still Jaime's intent that he fall.
Innocent boy vs earth gravity = Gravity never lost. Referring the books Cersei and Jaime even started fucking around when they didnt know exactly what they are doing. Just "Hey this is fun". But daddy Lannister was displeased when he caught them in action. So what do we learn from it? Bitchy sister + arrogant brother = Son of a bitch (also called Joffrey) All Lannisters (except Tyrion, he is a man of honor in a family of snakes) shall burn in hell
i'd never read the books, so when i was first watching this I thought: sexy, voyeur...then i find out their twins! Am i sick for not being bothered by that?
Bran was such a good climber till he saw a MANS powerful thrusting. Incidentally I notice me and Jamie have a similar habit. Not sister fucking though. lol
@Shadowfang3000 You have heard right. Now, I have only read the first book yet, due to not finding the second - but it's nothing like the show. Or, of course, it's wrong to put it that way. Films and series will always be different from the books, in some ways, sometimes big, sometimes small. I can't explain it that well.
i, by NO MEANS condone incest. but this is fucking hot i jerk off to this shit i wish i was balls deep in cersei i'd tell her i was her long lost brother and start laying pipe
They inserted a over-the-top scream in the recap at the beginning of episode 2 as Bran fell...which was pretty silly. They should have left it as it was in the episode.
Incest isn't abnormal in royal families (in history, in order to keep the bloodline pure)... or fiction... unfortunately. Either way, brother-sister is too close a relation to be doing... well... each other.
@DoomyDeathBunnies deformed children, put it this way, joffery wouldn't look like that if a brother and sister got together, he would be servely disabled.
I know. I understand that. However, this is fiction, and takes place in a world that is in medieval times. They don't know that. To us, incest is wrong, but to them, incest is normal, and most likely commonly accepted, though I don't know about a relationship as close as brother and sister.
@DoomyDeathBunnies if i'd been ned, i wouldn't of knelt to him thats fucking for shore, i hope robb cuts his head off. i'd been like king leonidas and came out with a witty response like. "But the, uh, the idea of kneeling, it's- You see... uh, well it's left a nasty cramp in my leg, so kneeling will be hard for me."
I assume you're talking about the series when you refer to "they." In this case, you're wrong. The Targaryens commonly had brother-sister marriages, but none of the other houses did. When this gets out, Cersei and Jaime are vilified, and their children are referred to as "monsters."

I specifically said that I was unsure about brother-sister marriages. But marriages to other people in a royal bloodline were common in our history, so between royal families, I assume it would be more acceptable for someone to marry, say, their cousin.
@DoomyDeathBunnies yes, most of us know that, most of us, maybe all of use, have read the books and watched the series... we know. or at least, i'll speak for just my self and say, i know.
@DoomyDeathBunnies believe it or not, the reader discovers this in the series when ned reads out all the kings names from the book maester pycelle gave him (or ned asked for, rather).
@Icetor01 Actually it can happen after "only one such cross". I work in the mental health field and have worked with the offspring of such relationships. Not all have severe disabilities but there are at times developmental delays. I knew one man who was mentally and physically disabled he looked very much like a character in a Mary Shelley novel.
It's strange watching this scene, given the info from the other books. I just can't dislike Jaime.

Well, in medieval times, men didn't wear shorts.
And their pants had a slitted codpiece ... so that they could put out their manhood very easy ( don't even need to unzip ). ^-*
