HEY GUYS! See that post down there from 10 months ago when I said i will send the pics of Guns a Go Go? I have scanned them, only took forever to get a scanner! Message me or email me at serenity301@live.com for the pictures! I have alot!
What the video doesn't mention, is that these things were abandonned because they were so damned slow with all that aditional weight, they became bullet magnets for every AA gun for 100 miles, which combined with a huge price tag, meant they just couldn't be risked against anything but 'soft' targets.
@weldonwin the ch47 even the guns a go-go were and still are the fastest us army helicopter even today it is faster and can fly higher than the apache.
My grandpa was in Guns a Go Go. He was the flight engineer of "Stump Jumper", he commanded the choppers and told them what to do. He was then shot down. i have lots of very rare pics you cant find anywhere of it. just message me if anyone want them.
@MayrN Last thing I knew was the war is over and the wall collapsed quite some time ago. Anyway, Germany is a great allied country helping our troops out if they get wounded.

There are probably operational limitations on the actual numbers, but, "Imagine the amount of ammunition this aircraft can carry".
