  • My Uncle just passed away Nov 28th. He was a tech sargent and waist gunner on a B24 shot down over Yugoslavia Dec 18 1944 Purple heart recipient etc etc Just wanted to thank you for the great video and the camera mounted in the waist gunner position to show the view my uncle Joe probably saw for most of the war! Thanks!

  • Very well done indeed. Your dedication and expertise are clearly evident here.

I have a 'bit' of film that I'm girding my loins to finish, and I have realised that it's all in the editing, so I congratulate you on this result, it's not easy at all!.

    Good job!!!.

  • G,Day mate very well done 120% please tell me

how you got all the camera shots?????

  • that was fantastic pity you can,t make a bristol brabezon ...it looked so real

  • No, not in production anymore. This is a 5 channel plane, I sold it recently for $350

  • I really like that song. Thank you for telling me it was Bing. My Grandpa flew B-24's in WWII. How many channels are you using to fly? Is this kit still available? If so, can you tell me where it is available from. I looked up Wipa, and as far as I can tell, it is not in production.

    Thank you.

  • Oh my gawd, I thought that was just about the corniest war song I'd ever heard!! I guess the mood was different then; it probably stirred a few folks into buying more War Bonds...

  • What is the name of the song, and who does it?

    Thank you.

  • The Bombardier's song, Bing Crosby

  • wonderful, thanks

  • BEAUTIFUL!! I really enjoyed that! Hope you do some more! The music and radio sounds were a nice touch. CH

  • did you scratch build this or kit,

  • that's the Liberator....during WW2 Filipinos would look up to the sky hoping that it'd be one and not a Japanese Betty. According to my dad...Liberators dropped millions of "I shall return" cigarettes.

  • Man! What a fantastic video, and model aircraft.

It almost makes you believe it is a real bomber!!

    Great job!!

  • nice plane !

  • Excellent video!! Thank you.

From extensive research I have done on my late father's

WWII bomber group (the 464th, 55th BW, 15th Air Force, Pantanella, Italy 1944-45), I recognized TARGET for TONITE that served with the 464th. Who makes this B-24 model and how did you make the pin up art?

    Thanks again for sharing.

    Regards,

    TXRog

  • The nose art was made with photoshop using a Vargas girl (same as used by the original nose artist). The model is a modified Wipa B-24 from the Czech Republic.

  • Thanks for your prompt reply and for sharing, Bomberguy.

    I appreciate it.

    Regards,

    TXRog

  • @TXRog

My Grandfather served in the 465th at Pantanella, 781st BS. He was a nose gunner on Grant A. Benson's crew. I'd like to contact you to discuss for my research efforts if you're interested? My email is fcantre at msn dot com.

  • Warms the heart. You did a great job. I love nostalgia.Unfortunate that humans go to war, however.

  • Thanks from a fellow modeler who's Father's Uncle flew B-24's with the Vulgar Vultures. Stationed in Italy from the 15th Air force.

  • Wow..., nicely done!

  • Great little film, and great audio as well!

  • Very well done really appreciated all the effort and the thinking put into makeing the video.

  • Great work! Now how about an RAF Lancaster?

  • I have one on the bench, not much time to finish it but stay subscribed!

  • I appreciate the effort you made in many camera angles over the various locations around the bomber with the single camera. Very well done indeed

  • A tip of the hat for this one. Well done!

  • wow an RC flying coffin

  • great editing, good film. i like the inside camera position.

  • Great plane, great production, superb video!

  • cripes how many cameras you got on that thing?!

  • One, just many flights edited together

  • That was really cool. But I would have preferred to hear the sound of the four engines humming.
