Weird ? It means you don't go to any performing arts event, you don't know anything about modernism, history of design and architecture. Sad to hear that art damages brains.
that's a later reconstrution though or? post technicolor. pretty sixties or seventies I guess. but the original was far beyond any later optical choreography or something. anyway thx! it's super charming!!!
It,s just so good and ahead of its time!the colour scheme and the costumes are fantastic. If i could go back in time and be anything i would be in the Black Forrest in Germany being part of the Bauhaus movement.Nobody has ever uploaded the complete version on U Tube before it,s not even that easy to find so thank you sooo much Killerrette! you have made the world a more educated place.I have seen it before in segments as an art student but i don,t think thats fair.Everyone should know about this.
This is wonderful to see. I hope the video remains for sometime to come. I've linked to it on my blogpost that describes my Oskar Schlemmer mural project.
I would request that original comments upon this work are 2 things: More Informed about the art/music AND less rudely inflammatory using so many crude four letter words. Get With it & be more educated; you will turn many off with your rough-trod meaninglessness.
Hard to imagine that in the twenties of 20(1922) century, when horses were still the main mode of transportation , someone could have such an extraordinary vision, concept.
Germany was and still is one of the main cradles of modern art, design (just think about of phenomena of Bauhaus).
I think, that this video able to appreciate only those who have art education such as Designers, Artists and Architects.
the bauhaus would say that you would need to absolutely watch the whole thing, study the human form and all the branches of the arts in order to fully understand.
I really love everything is this. The music, the choreography, the costumes are so beyond in that era. I find this this is inspirational, and entertaining... way more better than some of today's shit.
Was ein Geisteskranker Typ.
Was wohl die Chinesischen Triaden dazu sagen würden :P.
Does anyone else see the similarities between this and the children's television program Boohbah? Or is that just me?!

You can see the costumes at the National Gallery in Stuttgart.
