  • What is the name of the song on that video, I remember it as a kid, but I don't remember the name of it. Hope someone can help, great stuff, I smile when I saw the video. You will be miss Manno Sanno, you are missed by a lot of us. You brought the world memory that will last a lifetime. We love you.

  • im from brasil ,and i hope in the sky Garrincha with Manno Sannon .RIP

  • Sorry to hear M.Sanon has passed on. Remember watching this game live, the first World Cup I remember. The Haitians played with fantastic commitment, and the goal was a great one. Manno Sanon shows formidable strength, speed and skill to get the ball in the net.

  • sanon was awsome i work with the goal tender from haiti henrey francillian hes an awsome guy

  • THAT GOALY HENRY FRANCILLION WAS A FAMILY FRIEND HE'S THE ONE THAT INTRODUCED ME TO THAT VIDEO HE GOT THAT MATCH ON TAPE LOL

  • I was 8 years old when Haiti played that game, and I barely remember it, but I do remember the watching the Haitian team on black and white TV with my family. I hope that Haiti overcomes all its problems just like this guy scored this goal. I really would like to see Haiti doing great. I'm from Mexico and I live here in Monterrey, Mexico, and I also want Mexico to be a great country, a great place to live. And I want Haiti also to become a great place to live. Unite and you can do it.

  • @ggarzamejia GOD saves the Latin America and the Haiti too.

  • haha that Italian man CAN NOT believe it

  • forza italia

  • Manno Sanon was the only one who could score at that time; a team can never win with one good player. Half of the team should be able to score in order for a team to win games. Henry Francillon showed excellent skills as a goldkeeper; these two great players remain ungorgettable.

  • Its nice to know that. nice post!

    sa kap fet family!

    R.I.P MANNO SANON!

  • Honour to this man, and rest in peace; I remember his goal back in 74, I was seeing the game with my family in our living room, in italy...I was 8 at that time, but I'll never forget the rush of enthusiasm of the Haitian team after the goal...great moments...

  • its so sad that he died. I met him At an Ajax Camp in Orlando and he gave me a book that he wrote about his life.

  • Pure Awesomeness.........

  • rest in peace from Italy

I was children and i remember your goal Manno

  • he played in Belgium after the world cup 74 (Beerschot)

  • Yes he did. Finn player Arto Tolsa was also in the same team Beerschot.

  • Rest In Peace Manu Sanon.

I'm Italian, I was child but I still remember this historical goal in 1974.

  • The amazing thing was that Zoff, at the time considered the world's best keeper, hadn't conceded an internatioanl goal for some 1400 minutes, spread over two years.

  • I didn´t know this guy died. Sad. Rest in peace and thanks for the World Cup legendary status.
