@SingJiya I think you will find you are meant to have the cross bars horizontal on the stands so thats how they are meant to be setup. Otherwise its unstable.
@JLDJUK I think that is a Europe thing, because they way those stands spread out at the bottom is way to wide, look how small your speaker is then look at your stand, they dont match. The School should of cleared at that junk from behind you, it makes it look like its part of your set up, what a mess!
@SingJiya The stands are meant to be like that because when you have the speaker high up you need a larger footprint to support it. I am not in charge of the venue. I was told to setup there.
joe - u gotta get subs with pole mounts in them.. then you can just put a pole in them, and mount your tops/satelittes ontop. Saves on the extra tripods and makes it neater :) but i do like your lighting show :)
@djyak999 I am currently saving for a new speaker system. Thinking RCF. Only problem is I am limited on how much space I have in the car to take stuff from gig to gig. I want to get two active RCF tops and then one compact Bass sub as my system currently really lacks the low frequencies. My current speakers are pretty crappy especially the small ones. What can you recommend? Thanks :D Joseph
@JLDJUK joe, have a look at the RCF ART 705A subs :) I rock 2 x RCF 4PRO 8001A subs (the 18" ones, compared to the 15" 705a's). Both are amazing. the 705a is pretty portable, and boomy when coupled together with 2 or 4 :)
@JLDJUK As far as getting new speakers, for you clowns I would recommend Gemini, looks like you wont be doing this long so why get really good equipment besides k- 5Th graders don't care, they just want to hear gay music like Glee and another homo song, born this way. What is the world coming to with all these fag songs.
@RBproductions10 Its a nice idea but the mega bars are just too bright. They are blinding to look into and are way too bright to shine into the crowd. Thanks for the idea though :D
I like deejay time-lapse videos, I always find it very interesting how other deejay's setup. How long does that take to setup (well there is two of you). Also one thing, a MUST HAVE is getting a black or white table cloth... I think that does not look to smart and lets down the setup. The rest of it's very clean with all the pre-wired truss which is nice to see. Keep up the good work...
@OneStopDiscos It takes about an hour to set everything up and be ready to start. I know I am in the process of sorting out either getting a facade or just a table cloth. Thanks :D
@JLDJUK Sweet, I am looking into creating a glow-booth to use at older parties/weddings... It costs around £40 or less and can be white or black but you need to buy that Road Ready table :D Its the bees knees!
@OneStopDiscos A glow booth would be very cool. I have seen other DJs who have made their setups look amazing with them. Add some back lit white scrim kings and that would be legendary. Hopefully getting the road ready table soon. Maybe this week :D
