Was it the whole engine to be air/oilcooled or were the cylinderheads watercooled? ohwell, we might see in a later video. I heard about these w-c-heads somewhere.

It's the fan!
Like all proper Porsche's, the 917's 4.5 litre flat 12 is air cooled!
