There is nothing sad about this song. To AyRGio, my mom also use to sing this song to me when I was younger, and it still makes my life easier each day when I hear it. Every time I hear this song it means the world to me and i remember my mom, it is a pain that will never go away, only subside; that is what makes you a stronger person in the end. I am now 20 years old and I still cry no matter where I hear this song play. They loved and still love us no matter what. Just hear their voice sing.

I am so sorry to hear of your dreadful experience. My mum died when I was 16 and the pain is still there to some degree - and I'm 54 now.
The main thing is that everyone is lent to us. We always have to say goodbye at some time. We might die before them, or they die before us; but either way we have to 'give them back'.
So you haven't lost your mum - you've simply given her back. Think of it this way and it seems just a little less painful. Hope this helps.

@AtRGio oh my goodness im so sorry about your mom i cant relate as far as the death of my mother but when my sister moved out i had to grow up quick. im sure wherever your mom is shes looking down on you and your family and blessing your every move stay strong things will work out somehow :)

i lost my mum last year, i was 15 then.. im now 16. Its very hard being young and losing a parent.. i now live with my sister and nephew. It will get a little easier i promise you but you'll never forget her, each day goes by and i still think of her everysingle day, what a beautiful women she was. im sure you feel the same.

She is all better now but for a moment I really thought I was losing my best friend and I thank God for hearing our prayers and allowing us to spend more time with her. @AtRGio i was 12 when my mom died i miss her everyday she was the light in my life. My brother was 3 so he will never remember her. I show him pictures everyday but it's not the same. Although i know there is no words to take the pain away i am very sorry. People will tell u they know how u feel but really they don't ur mom and thier's where diffrent people.
