What CRV Model is this and price tag with the GPS? Cause my mother is going to try to get one of SUVS HONDA so just wondering as I do research for her
Really nice review. Im amazed with the guy from Honda. He knows what he's selling, he knows the specs, funcitons, capabilities and how to enhance the good points of the CR-V. Thumbs up for him. Especially cause im used to people that when i go to the dealer i know much more about cars and the specific model than the salesman.
Front: Independent MacPherson strut with stabilizer bar and hydraulic shock absorbers
Rear: Double-wishbone coil spring rear suspension with trailing arms and hydraulic shock absorbers and stabilizer bar (Sport model gets tuned shocks and springs)
So, the reason the RAV4 hit a pot hole and she felt it is because she drove the thing right into it.

this girl was driving so fast hehe. Shes so cute. I'd get this car if she came with the car. lol actually Japanese cars are kinda overrated. They make a loud sound when you accelerate but you arent going that fast lol. But the old crv i drove in was fun to drive:)
I was wondering why the ride on the CRV feels a lot smoother than in the rav4, now I know is because of the double wish suspension, thanks for the info.
Toyota is the company that is going epically fuel efficient and even they put a V6 engine in their RAV4 and in their Highlander. Honda needs to make the inline-4 up to 200hp and put a V6. Use direct injection to maintain the fuel economy. The Pilot also needs improvement because 250hp sounds good but the Pilot is really heavy and thats why it doesn't pull that good.
an inline 4 to make 200hp is pretty hard without turbo or supercharge. You know why honda s2000's front end is super long? it's because all that room is to maximize air intake... so if the engine has high compression ratio... it would require premium or high octane fuel to burn longer.
yeah im pretty used to it. i really like the crv i think its pretty cool, just wish it had more oomf. honda should do what gm and ford are doing. direct injection.
im not rushing it, a lot of cars are coming out with it. honda as one of the top companies of the world, the leading producer of engines, should probably start to
The RAV4 has been around for 13 years, which has given Toyota plenty of time to tweak, tune, and refine the RAV4 into perfection, and offer class-leading options and features that competitors dont offer.
the car sounds loud and slow

Actually, the CR-V has a MacPherson strut front suspension.
Good review overall, though.

i love the stability of this car even on sharp turns. 2 things i dont like though, excessive cabin noise and the engine is underpowered.

hi people, how significant is an increase of 14HP (from 166HP to 180HP)?
Also, how is highway merging for the crv? I heard it's slow on merging? can anyone comment, please?

Excellent video. I like how Brandon explained everything in detail. Very very useful video. One of the best videos I have seen in a long time!
Please make more of these videos. I wouldn't be surprised if Brandon sells lots of cars.

If Honda want to compete with the RAV4, put a V6 engine in it.
desimunda116 2 years ago 2
Yeah but fuel economy will suffer a bit. :(

dude the honda civic si. 2.0 inline 4 with 197hp and the front is freaking tiny. no matter how high i put the seat i can't see the hood.

Lol I know what you mean, I test driven one before i bought the crv. You just have to get use to it.

well, most american cars are sohc... so it sort of even out... can't always rush technology into the market....

the only concern for me towards Honda is their exterior design... also Acura... they're sort of screwing it up....
