Not that I'm a boxer, but the newer generation is so lucky to have all these improvements @ their colleges. I didn't finish school at the expected time, so I'm back in college. My college has a nice Music Dept. now. Had it they had the same programs there, when I just got out of H.S., I'd be stoked.
WHAT! NO you cant take boxing in England at secondary (high) school. That is bullshit. You don't get to chose a sport at all. It is normally just football (soccer). Sports in school in the UK is really awful, compared to the USA.
"UCLA Have A Boxing Team" - That grammar is very bad..... it makes no sense, foreigner style. Had to hear it to understand the context. An english speaker would say "UCLA (HAS) a boxing team" .....but "UCLA have a boxing team" doesn't make sense, it's extremely ambiguous... You would think ...UCLA has a boxing team ? or UCLA should have a boxing team ? Very very poor grammar from a reporter.

It was too ambiguous for "common sense"

Alot of schools are adopting boxing and university boxing is on a rise. I'm at one of the manchester based unis and we got plenty of members.
