That World Series loss to the Giants hurt pretty bad, but we were happy for the Giants. They have good fans and great pitching. Hopefully our Rangers could win a World series title this time around or within the next few years. We seem to have the pitching that matches the hitting right now. Pitching was usually the problem in the past. Maybe it will be a rematch this year, maybe we'll beat yall this time. :-)

Timmy and the Giants were one pitch away from matching the Orioles for the most shutouts in a WS. If the pitching stays healthy in 2011, there's every reason to believe that they will be in the hunt for the playoffs next year. A full year of Posey will help, A (crossing fingers) healthy DeRosa will help, and frankly, with good pitching, they don't need to lead the league in hitting to win games anyway.

The game is much more that what you see on tv. - Many fans like myself have been watching the Giants since they were kids. For me, that's 33+ years. They finally won it all, and out happiness bothers you? Baseball is the greatest game, played by world class athletes. It's a sorce of happiness for millions. So what's wrong with that?
