@APScience1 well a little before this scene there was a wounded enemy and a soldier requested to medivac the enemy and the colonel said no he didn't make it, then he asks again and the colonel says it again no he didnt make it and then you hear them shoot the wounded enemy so i think the colonol was definitely impressed and really liked how sgt james disarmed that bomb

The sergeant's superior is not thinking about decking him at all! He has total respect for the sergeant and his work. The term Wildman is the ultimate compliment - similar to "warrior". You don't shake the hand of someone you don't respect!!!

I love this clip because it is clear the colonel is on the edge of decking him. He's doing everything to control himself. He DOES NOT appreciate the style of the sergeant - but he cannot argue with the man's success. Note the frozen smile, the demand for an answer ["Solider, I asked you a question."] - and the sergeant's deference to his superior. Why? Because at this moment he's trying to diffuse ANOTHER bomb - the anger of his superior officer.

Well the enemy actually has developed very sophisticated IED's. They use motion sensors from garage doors, thermal detection systems from whatever, and alot, of course, are radio wave activated. I think i see what your saying though., how hard is it to locate the battery and just cut the circuit...? but what if the enemy is watching from a nearby roof top and detonates it when EOD gets there. (common scenario)
