  • Hello. Thank you for your kind words. I am sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, you may use Daniel's photos/video in your presentation. The iPad has helped Daniel to hold and drag items to their appropriate places, match objects/colors, put puzzles together, trace, color, write, chose between objects. He is more patient, understands more verbal cues and is not so easily distracted by activity/noise surrounding him. His continual growth gives us hope that he will learn to communicate better.

  • @rizzobitz Thank you for your reply, I shall be presenting this thursday. I'm so glad to hear that you've found a tool to really unlock your sons potential. I'm doing further research into other ways technology can help with communication. If you would like I can let you know what I find out and maybe you can try it with daniel. Kind regards hussain

  • Hi. This a great video, and you have a beautiful son. I'm a medical student in london UK and I'm doing a presentation on modern technology imrpoving communciation in patients. I was wondering if you would give me the honour to use some of the photos on the website and this video in my presentation. If you do, then any information that you think may help me paint a picture of how the ipad has improved his life would be great. Thank you x

  • @YourITnowVideos

Hello. Yes. Please do share this link for educational purposes. We are very happy with our son's continual progress and would love for others to see that their child or student has the ability to progress. Daniel has been making physical and mental connections I had only dreamed of seeing. I've shed many happy tears watching him learn.

If you would, please send me a link to your facebook page.

  • @rizzobitz hi, sorry on my last message i had to leave off the w w w bit of the adress as you-tube wouldnt let me post a link, sorry! Thanks again.

  • Your blog, lilliespad, is wonderful! Daniel is using "Bob Books Magic #1" application. He became very proficient at holding and dragging items through motivational game apps. such as Sound Shaker, ClickySticky, air hockey and My First Maze. They got him past the tap, tap, tap phase and readied him for apps. like Bob Books, Lunchbox, puzzles... ABC Connect is a new favorite of mine. Daniel has over 140 educational apps. so far.

  • @rizzobitz Thank you so much for the kind words about the blog. Hope you find and Daniel find it useful! And thank you for letting me know about Bob Books Magic. It is so funny, I bought it awhile ago but forgot I had it. I am definitely going to get it in front of Lillie. I will definitely check out the other ones that you mentioned as well. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know.

  • Such a great video! Thanks for sharing. I hope you don't mind but I posted it on my blog (lilliespad[dot]com). I know alot of the other fans of the blog will find this very motivating. Can you please tell me the name of the app that Daniel is using? Thanks!

  • Hello Cheriegoldie. Thank you for your advise. We have purchased 1 AAC application; Tap 2 Talk. There are several others that look interesting.

  • Have you tried some AAC apps?
