  • Very informative. Thanks Jack

  • This video has less than 2,000 hits at the time I wrote this comment, which is similar to the exposure of his other videos. These numbers are indicative of Paul's popularity.

How is Paul going to win the Republican nomination, let alone the presidency, if he gets zero traction? How is this campaign any different than the ineffective campaign of four years ago?

Oh, that's right. This time Paul is quitting Congress to run for president.

    Well, good luck with that!

  • @RawFoodKevin

You think like a politician, this is not a good thing.

  • @Cheedillow Attacking me personally instead of addressing the message is not a good thing. It just makes you look like you don't have anything intelligent to say, which is true.

  • @RawFoodKevin

I said you thought like a politician, whether its a good thing or not is completely subjective, if you considered that a personal attack then what I'm saying must be true.

  • @Cheedillow You first said it was "not a good thing" which was indeed a personal attack, then you lied about what you said.

So that makes two comments in a row where you only discredited yourself with your own words, while not even addressing the content of my original comment.

    You lose.

  • @RawFoodKevin

So you agree, you think like a politician?

  • @Cheedillow Now that's three times you discredited yourself.

By continuing to ask me the same question like a child, you prove that you have a severe comprehension problem. What is it with your unhealthy obsession with thinking like a politician?

Take your ignorant irrelevant personal attacks and go seek help from your nearest shrink.

And with only 2,100 hits for this video, Ron Paul, the original topic of this conversation, continues to be wildly unpopular, especially with the Republicans!

  • @RawFoodKevin You're funny, you accuse me of making personal attacks when you've been ad homineming all over this comment section ever since I replied to your comment. You say repeatedly asking questions is childish well I say not answering them and avoiding thm is politician-like.

The answer is you DO think like a politician, which in my opinion is a deplorable attribute, What u said was true, but or mindset is not that of some1 seeking REAL democracy, This went on far longer than it needed to.

  • @Cheedillow Still, you make ridiculous charges against me personally, which I have clearly proven to be false

When you talk nonsense and personal attacks, you sanity must become the issue, so my comments are not "ad homineming [sic]". LOL!

You have never addressed the contents of my original comment, you have only attacked me personally with illogical ad hominems. That means you have no good argument.

    Again, you lose.

Better take a course in logic or high school debate!

  • @RawFoodKevin

I'm actually an Economics Bsc. I haven't addressed the issue cos you haven't presented me with any, just bitchy complaints about how I offended u in some way. I'm not sure whether you're a troll or just an idiot (personal attack). The point I made in my VERY 1st REPLY, was that you're displaying political strategy, which in my opinion is not beneficiary to anyone but lying politicians. You've displayed hilarious hypocrisy. You say I lost, but do you really think you won?

  • @Cheedillow The fact that you claim to be educated makes your personal attacks worse. Funny how the troll accuses me of being a troll.

The point you made in your first comment was you prefer to attack me personally. Then you continued with unsubstantiated accusations against me instead of addressing the message

You try to smear the messenger with ad hominems, yet it is you who has mud all over himself.

In all this time, you still have yet to address the message. You just don't get it.

  • @RawFoodKevin <----If you arent a troll, then why are you here? And what trivial "attack" R U defending!? Do you like the Southern Avenger, or are you a Ron Paul fan? If you are neither, then you must be here to "pimp" your candidate. Just tell us his name and or your party affiliation and how they will save us from ourselves and move along before the flock misses you sheep.

  • @pensword5 If you aren't a troll, then why the ad hominem attacks against the messenger (which by the way are against Youtube policy) in every single one of your comments, instead of discussing the message?

You consistently try to change the subject and divert attention away to irrelevant topics. That can only mean one thing. You have nothing intelligent to say that can counter my original comment.

    You lose, again.

  • @RawFoodKevin

You've got to be fucking kidding me. Its been awhile since I had a YT arguement I forgot how fucking pointless it is. Read over everything and if you honestly think you're in the right (even though we haven't actually argued about anything). I mentioned my degree cos of your little high school debate remark. I certainly failed to get anything interesting out of you, other than fucking frustrating critiques of my comments. Fuck you really wasted a good hour of my life.

  • @Cheedillow It took you a whole wasted hour to compose a fourth grade trash mouth pointless comment? I can tell that your whole life is a waste.

OK kid, this is the part where you respond with ranting expletives, again.

  • @RawFoodKevin That would be because of the channel. What Paul is trying to do is reach a younger audience. Liberty will sprout up once more through our children if it has to. His name is a lot more widely known than you realize and this time he should try to get the Republican nomination if his goal is to take over the party after all. Running 3rd party is an automatic lose. There are only 2 parties. If people actually believe any 3rd party has a chance they are kidding themselves.

  • @Luigi84289 If people actually believe Ron Paul has a chance, they are kidding themselves. The voters have buyers' remorse from voting the Republicans into the majority in the House. Now there is a backlash against the horrific policies of both the Republicans and the DINOs, which will sweep the Progressive Democrats into power, along with whoever becomes the Democratic Presidential Nominee.

  • @RawFoodKevin People voted Republican in 2010 because they had buyer's guilt over 2008, and they still remember. Either side will get you screwed. Ron Paul is a RINO, in the sense that he is moderate, but because his line of thinking is so out of line with both Republicans and Democrats, and so in line with most voters, even if they don't realize it. Neocons have failed and progressives have failed; it's time to give freedom a try.

  • @shamgar001 Voters do not want their SS or Medicare touched. Check out the polls. It's not even close to being a controversy. They average in at about 75-25%. That means Ron Paul is indeed out of touch as much as the rest of his fellow Republicans.

You also make the mistake of confusing DINOs with the Progressive Democrats. That shows just how little you really know about politics.

Progressive Democrats are going to sweep the elections. First the DINOs in the primaries, then the GOP in Nov.

  • @RawFoodKevin You of course have a right to your opinion and political affiliation, so long as the big government we have allows us the right of being critic's lol, but Social Security/Medicare need to be touched. SS will not be here when I for one am going to be retired and Medicare is unsustainable. Better to have the youth pay for the care of the elderly by way of taxes instead of giving money to the government and hoping that they hold it for us. Ron Paul 2012

  • @YaHuWaHservant Both SS and Medicare are funded for the next 25 years and are sustainable. All we need to do is get the wealthy to pay their fair share of the taxes. If we had Medicare for all, everyone in the country could be covered for $400 billion per year, which would be a considerable amount of savings over current payments to big insurance companies. So there is no credible reason for their continued existence. It works in all other industrialized countries and it can work her too.

  • Ron Paul is a granite statue in a field of weather vanes.

The others' speeches are like those form-letters where your name and town are inserted at specific places but interrupt the rhythm or just sound wrong. Paul speaks from his heart and head and there are no contradictions.

  • I would NOT TRUST anyone but Ron PAUL, who has been consistant for 25 years.

  • Human rights and liberty are violent crimes? No that doesn't make sense to me.

  • Comment removed

  • No, taking away those rights is a violent crime. Just as you wouldn't accuse a state imprisoning a murderer of "taking away the rights of the murderer", a pro-life conservative thinks having the right to abort an unborn fetus is no right at all. I don't agree with that, but letting the states decide if that's the case is constitutionally sound. (This isn't to say abortion should be illegal in conservative states, it just means you need more women's rights activists there.)

  • Excellent video. Indeed, we need to tailor our message of Liberty to the less informed Republicans to get their primary vote.

  • Ron Paul seems to care little about keeping abortion safe and legal or letting same sex couples enjoy the same basic rights as straight Americans. I understand his mistrust of big federal government. I don't understand his love of big state government having power over the hard fought for rights of average Americans. I assume since he's from Texas, he has to get on his knees and suck social conservative dick to get re elected every two years.

  • @337noname maybe its because the people who started the most successful country made a document that said if this document doesnt address it its up to the states

  • @337noname Sounds like a Tenth Amendment Issue to me, just like all crimes of a violent behavior like murder, rape and armed robbery. Does that make sense to you? That is the Proper Constitutional position or do we just ignore the Constitution on issue’s we don’t agree with?

  • Jack Hunter- Brilliant political strategist. If only Ron Paul had the ability to present his ideas like a savvy tactician when he is interviewed or in debates he would be so much further ahead. The best thing about the legacy of Ron Paul are those people he has inspired who may actually carry the ball further than he has.

  • Jack Hunter for US Senate.

  • I do not believe that Bachmann, Cain, or Romney would do anything to upset the military industrial complex in this country. If Ron Paul became President, you would see just how much our two political parties are in collusion when they override every one of his vetoes. Our system has been corrupted by lobbyists who legally buy off our politicians with unlimited campaign contributions and cushy jobs for when they retire for both themselves and for their staff.

  • @johnqpublic81 While I agree with this and do believe RP to be controlled opposition if he won and everything was shot down people would see, see for the first time in a long time.

  • I don't believe most people that call themselves conservative are liberty minded.

  • Swear allegiance to the flag

    Whatever flag they offer

Never hint at what you really feel

    Teach the children quietly

For some day sons and daughters

Will rise up and fight while we stood still

  • We also need to know how to talk liberty with liberals...

  • @adaptogen23 I definitely agree that he should do one on how to convince liberals.Maybe even Reference the "Blue Republican" Movement.

  • One of your better offerings.

  • It almost hurts me to know that Ron Paul or his son Rand Paul will never have a chance to be president. Pretty sad in our country today that only those considered completely "mainstream" get elected.

  • Thumbs up if Jack Hunter sounds like Mr. Garrison.

  • I don't think he can win the GOP nomination b/c most GOPers are big government supporters. I think he can only win by bringing the middle into the GOP.

  • Jack, you're absolutely right about the need to think about how we communicate with mainstream conservatives, and we should all thank you for teaching us how to do that by example.

Another thing we need to do, now that many of the other candidates are trying to sound like Ron Paul, is to be able to show that none of them sincerely advocates these liberty-oriented positions. You've recently done that for Pawlenty and Bachmann. May I suggest that Cain be next on your hit list?

  • Ron Paul vs. Big Brother 2012

    The Choice Is Clear

    news LibertyPoet(dot)com

  • The public will continue to get fucked up the ass if they don't take the time out of their day to stand up and rightly kick their government in the balls. D.C. needs to shrink ASAP or it will continue to suck the lifeblood of prosperity and liberty from us.

  • The neo-cons love the patriot act, war crimes, torture and giving money to dispicable dictators.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • @midwestcharm The Progressives too. They're cut from the same cloth; one and the same. They just haven't come to terms with it yet, or have extreme cognitive dissonance, like my dear sweet mother.

  • I cannot understand why people who make less than a million dollars a year vote republican.

  • @kaduisaui you might want to look at the results not the intentions, like black teenage employment rate before and after minimum wage for starters

    remember results not alleged intentions

  • @gonadcancervictim Yes, raising the minimum wage prices black kids out of the work force. But saying poor white people vote republican because they understand and agree with the racism behind the policies gives poor white people too much credit. Most poor white people are simply too ignorant. That's why they are Christian, racist and republican.... oh wait, ya.. you got a point there.

  • If you want to hear about what Ron Paul is doing, turn off the TV and the Radio and stop reading the paper.

  • There is one error in this analysis. The GOP is NOT moving towards liberty; their RHETORIC is. But they ALWAYS do that! They use the language of liberty, only to betray it later. Do not kid yourselves.

  • @TheLegalImmigrant05 Thats exactly his point I think. Most in the mainstream are always changing with this poll and that, but Ron Paul has stayed the same for 30 years...and now the mainstream noobs are essentially copying his rhetoric

  • @hitlerscow Well, yeah, they copying his rhetoric; my point was, so what. The truth is, the general electoral masses are not libertarian by a million miles. What Ron Paul has been doing is amazing; but I have very little faith in being able to gain liberty through electoral process. These thugs are not going to go down easy.

  • wow that was fast for a video to video...

  • Win what? America is done

  • moar tactics!

  • perhaps that's the way you would answer the drug question. my response is that in order for us to defeat obamacare we need the power of the states back. if that means that californians can have marijuana, that's their business and their problem. i also remind them that when the govt finally kills the 2nd ammendment, like the pa killed the 4th, it willbe using the same argument as proponents of the drug war! if you support big govt it'sonly a matter of time before it comes after you

  • Ron Paul skillfully tailors while the others pathetically pander.

No contest. And it's about time.

  • they wanna get out of iraq and afghanistan as much as obama did. ron paul warned us and just about anyone with a brain knew that obama would never withdraw. neither will any of the mainstream candidates including the 3 stooges, bachmann, romney and kain

  • Archduke of Anarchism is the most amazing title ever.

In all seriousness Ron Paul is probably responsible for creating more anarchists since 2008 than any other single individual.

  • @Xasew Anarchists? Or Constitutionalists?

  • @hitlerscow

Well he's certainly created more constitutionalists than anarchists. But I was indeed talking about the anarchists.

  • Samuel was right!

  • An instructional video from the SA. More of us need to follow your example and set the DNA of liberty loose in the minds of everyone. Thank you, Jack.

  • In a very real sense, Ron Paul has already won, by changing the debate and moving candidate positions. Of course we still need to do a 'lot' more winning.

  • @Panpiper

    well said

  • @Panpiper "Candidate positions" = the lies they tell in order to get elected. They will then go ahead and do whatever their Masters tell them to do anyway.

So... Ron Paul has forced the rest of the liars to slightly adjust their lies.

  • @Panpiper i love ron paul and im a supporter but i think there anti democrats now that the neocons are gone

  • Ron Paul - Archduke of Anarchism. That sounds pretty awesome actually.

  • Good one. Keep it up! =)

  • Ron Paul for the Arch-Duke of Anarchism 2012

  • @Apptendo

    lol.. that is funny.

  • @Apptendo Dr. Paul does NOT want "Anarchism".

Libertarians understand that Anarchy, like Socialism is a infantile fantacy of those who don't understand history or human nature.

President Thomas Jefferson defined the sum of good government as, “a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned.”

  • @yakyakyak69 I'm sorry but Libertarians can be Minarchists (Mises) or Anarchists (Rothbard) and that government never says minimal and always expands out of it's original giving powers. So, being shitty at protecting liberties we can not trust any state with them. And the State is a monopoly on Force

  • @Apptendo Yes, you are sorry but the State does NOT have a "monopoly on Force" as long as the people retain their NATURAL right to have the POWER (arms) to defend themselves from Statist TYRANNY!

If We, the People LET the Statists take away the Bill of Rights, then We, the People deserve to be serfs on our own land.

  • @yakyakyak69 Sure they don't. You try and defend yourself against nukes.

  • @Luigi84289 Nukes, War on Terror, War on Drugs, Regulation & Redistribution for "Safety" ...

    1) FEAR: False Evidence Appering Real

    2) Ever-Growing Statism aka FASCISM

Fear is a weapon to steal OUR natural rights & liberties and "Redistribute" them to gov't & the giant corporations (including the Fed).

“Fascism should rightly be called [crony] corporatism, as it is the merger of corporate and government power.” ~ Benito Mussolini

Watch: "Statism's Assembly Line" here on YouTube!

  • @Apptendo Yes but involuntary taxation gives the state it's seed to grow. If we returned to an articles layout the state would not be so much like a virus and much preferred. Or we could do like the old west and set up local agencies.

  • @Apptendo Ron Paul is not an anarchist. nor does he endorse it.

  • I can’t lie, to hear Jack Hunter speaking in pragmatic terms is weird…

  • Dear Lord...you made me afariad you were going to crow for Willard...

    I'd have cried.
