@321boileranimal I have the same problem & gave up trying to ground balance near beaches & in the surf. I just put 'er in All Metal then when I get a hit check the VDI number. It is a challenge for sure.
@TurnersTreasureTeam Thanks Chris! The first one is .925 silver, doubt the stones are genuine, need to have them tested to be sure though. No mater, it is beautiful and very exciting to recover. Enjoyed your last 2 videos, outstanding work sir!
@REDDIRTDIGGER Thanks RDD, gets kinda spooky out there but I love it. So much cooler and a great adventure with only one small headlamp. Good luck to you & HH!
@jmwnycprr Thanks JSD. I enjoy hunting at night but with headphones on someone can walk right up to you which has happened. So much cooler after the sun goes down also. HH
@justanotherpulltab Thanks Roger, swinging the coil over a ring on that huge beach is absolutely pure D luck. Could easily go two months without finding one.
Another great vid from Galveston with BLING! Hey, don't complain about the heat. I'll trade you 6 months of freezing your you-know-what off for 6 months of 100 degrees any time you want. HH
Nice rings. Wish it wasn't so hot here. I just can't get out in this heat. Wish I had some beaches close by. The night hunting looks fun and cooler. HH.
Nice haul Uncle John! Still can call it a trifecta.Your camera works good at night.Only night hunting i'll probably get in is when it gets dark at 5 0'clock in the winter! Sounds like fun doesn't it?Teeth chattering! But at least i won't have competition! LOL! You found Ford keys! Man those are sweet! Nice, nice rings!
@garbageguru1 Ford keys huh? Guess I did not realize that. Sure hope I find the owner, put an add on Craigs, the guy several weeks ago did not leave his name. Thanks a lot and good luck to you at the beach.
Wow John awesome hunting ! ChaChing :)look at you out there in the dark and gale force winds you definitely worked for them treasures way to go John :) congrats to you and digger done on some mighty fine detecting!and happy fathers day :)
@MichaelSwan66 Thank you very much Michael, my goodness I love the challenge of night hunting & it takes it all to another level in the wind. To be honest though that is about all of THAT MUCH wind I want this summer. Thanks again buddy and Happy Fathers Day to you too! :)
@tlaza1317 Treasure hunting in salt water spray all the time will no doubt get the best of my Fisher at some point. It shows no sign of rust on the outside, I wash it off after each hunt but I am sure there is at least beginning corrosion on the internal electronics. I dropped the sucker in the surf last night. Thanks for watching and posting your excellent fishing videos!
@icollectstuffdude Thanks Dave, the wind was as brutal each night as I have treasure hunted in. Wore me plum out! I love hunting at night, it's quiet a challenge to get the camera shots of the surf and finds especially with a gale trying to blow us down. One has to kinda want to do this real bad if you know what I mean. :)
nice video and very nice finds john keep up the good work buddy buddy HH

I have trouble with my F4 that close to the beach. It doesn't seem to want to ground balance right. I get a lot of interference
