  • Great video! I just flew from KMYF to KSMO last night in an SR22 for dinner and we had a great flight. We had the opposite problem with our landing...we floated like a balloon and never thought we would get down!

  • someone was a bit high on the approach. PAPI lights

  • @captmarcus11 He was actually on glideslope... 2 and 2

  • @captmarcus11 2 red 2 yellow thats a good approach...

  • Nice. To me, this is what private plane ownership is all about. Taking the family to where ever you want, whenever you want. Taking the wife to a city 300 miles away for dinner and back home by eleven. That is living the dream. You, sir, have my utmost admiration.

  • so cool

  • That was a really cool video, Thanks for sharing. It's weird to see all of those gadgets in the cockpit, I've only flown 6 times in a C152 and C172. This looks like such an awesome plane to fly

  • Santa Monica Muni in California

  • Very nice video! I love cirrus! Which airport is?

  • Is the GPWS really necessary? In a cirrus?

  • @Dominoes282 Would you consider it a bad thing to have equipment that ensures your safety, even if it might seem unnecessary?

  • @Tjita1 I didn't necessarily say it was a bad thing I just said that its a bit obsessive unless it comes standard which I don't think does

  • ha, no...they have 1 Cirrus and someone wrecked it so i dont fly that...

  • I wanna take a guess your with Justice Aviation ?

  • Well I hate to say it but the question of "being nervous when you land?" is a stupid question, in my opinion you are not allowed to be nervous if you fly because you wont be able to focus correctly. Thats my opinion I mean idk Ive heard you cant be nervous, you just gotta get out there and do it.

  • @XxNiMr0D7000xX I'm gonna have to disagree slightly. Being nervous to the point where you cannot fly is indeed unacceptable, but in my opinion with just under 100 hours in rotary wing in stage 3 of my instrument rating, a certain amount of nervousness keeps you on your toes, humble, keeps your brain moving and keeps you from becoming over confident, which is a proven killer.

  • @22640cal True that :)

  • @22640cal This is how I am whenever I fly. I get nervous during preflight, especially when I am going to do certain things for the very first time. But, once I start up the engines, I focus on what I have to do and make a good flight. I am always on my toes in case there's an emergency but I also know that I need to just enjoy myself when I fly.

  • @XxNiMr0D7000xX A little bit of nervousness is good because it helps you maintain control.

  • yes, a little overflare...had two girls in the back and full luggage in the back compartment coming home from AZ. You can see after we land that we are talking about how to get the balance right...

  • @RThomps10 Hey, who's that sitting in the right seat. He must be a pretty good instructor ;)

  • i want this plane =[ meh eventually, but i only hold an raa license, but i guess im only 16 so itl come =] is the plane yours? and how does it handle? looks sooo cool

  • Love the red cockpit dashboard lighting.

Nice Landing but did you overflare ?

  • @secret672000 looks like a little overflare
