To those who are wondering what the smash was at 5:21, I think it's just Kerry dropping the broom down on the stage, so that she can pack away her book and compose herself. I've heard the broom being plonked down at this point in many an audio, with all different Elphies :)

Really, they all have bigger things in store.
Kerry may be looking for a slot in CHICAGO. She came from WWRY, Le Mis, and MFL. I don't see LB on the list for future shows.

I was at the stage door on the sat nite when a girl was crying because Kerry had said it! Slightly overdramatic but proved good entertainment whilst I was waiting! I had a good laugh to myself whilst her friend was telling the girl how "Kerry at the very LEAST owed her an apology! I mean, like, oh my god! its distracting when its front row, the light from the stage reflects off the camera lense (depending where the camera is), thats why they find cameras easy to see

TBH, she totally had the right to say it, cause it was prob distrating her and the rest of the cast, but i was at front row in the evening, and there were loads of people behind us like squealing we love you kerry<<< all that business, throughout songs. im just gutted that the only time i see an evening performance , and it all back lashed towards us! lol

If you think you act appropriately at Wicked then you have nothing to worry about. I heard from more than 1 person that people on the front row on saturday night were over-rowdy and seemed to be trying to grab the attention of the cast. This is out of order. PLUS, I'm sure the entire cast bitch about the audience every night (it's the only thing that changes for them! lol). Get over it and enjoy the show!

When I went to see it for the first time I managed to get front row tickets, and already being massive fan of Kerry Ellis and the show/book/soundtrack I totally cheered when she came on set. It shows appreciation and I'm sure it helps her ego to hear the audience go wild with just her stumbling onto stage the way she does =) I saw a smile and nod of appreciation when I was there. So don't be afraid!!

She is great atm :)

I like Kerry as much as the next fan, but I've been really let down by her, even during her Broadway run. I don't feel that energy or that acting charisma she used to have. I think it's time for her to move on.
And as for the Glinda, I cannot STAND how almost every British Glinda INSISTS upon screaming "Elphie!" right before the lift sequence. It drives me nuts.

I see what you mean....but when i was there watching her, honestly she was SO into it...she was putting alot of energy into it, definitely the best I've seen her acting wise!

i also see what you mean.. but i think listening to kerry in the role and seeing kerry in the role is two different things, i think it sounds like shes just playing by the books cos she handles the score with ease. but when you see her she clearly isnt just calling it in espesh atm. if that makes sence. i been too 2 shows over 2 weeks and each one of then there has been a couple of riffs and power. She is great atm :)
